In short Everything, from the reception, hospitality, room and facilities. This stay is run by a family that lives near by. They treat you as one of their own. We stayed just one night but ended up interacting with most of them and they were exceptionally warm. The place also has a cafe/restaurant that serves good food at very reasonable price.

The staff was so so kind, helpful and accommodating. My boyfriend and I would highly recommend staying at Village Bali. It was quiet, VERY close to the beach and away from the hustle bustle of Uluwatu. I could not be happier with our choice

Located within 400 metres of Tuban Beach and 700 metres of Jerman Beach, Tirtasuci House features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kuta. The owner switched the ac on before we checked in, which actually felt very good. And check in was smooth and owner was quite helpful. The room nice and clean. Best part, walkable from airport.

Located in Ubud, 1.7 km from Ubud Palace and 1.8 km from Saraswati Temple, tiny's house provides spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Super beautiful views, very quite and just few minutes from the city center in motorbike, or 20 min walk. Has a supermarket just in the door which is really helpful. The owner is so much fun!

Ideally situated in Ubud, Arumasta Ubud features air-conditioned rooms with free private parking and room service. The property has pool and city views, and is 1.3 km from Monkey Forest Ubud. Staff was very welcoming. Villa was close to a small street with access to food, shops, massages.

Situated in Canggu and only 800 metres from Nelayan Beach, The Breeze Stay and Surf Canggu Bali features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. This hotel is brand new, everything is clean, confortable and beautiful. The staff is lovely. It’s a really good place to stay in canggu, many breakfast options around. Good too for digital nomads as Bwork Bali is really close even if the WiFi at the hotel was working week. I have been able to do few visio meeting from my room. The beach is good for surfing, not the most beautiful in terms of landscape.

Situated within 1.1 km of Batu Bolong Beach and 1.2 km of Echo Beach, The Jangkar Canggu Guesthouse & Villa features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Canggu. A great stay! Near A LOT of interesting bars, cafés and restaurants, but far enough from the noise. The location is very quiet. The bed was comfortable. Everyone in the staff of the hotel is really gentle and always ready to help. They also cleaned up the room each day which after a lot of stays in apartments was a huge relief for us.
