I loved this place! Even if not ocean front, it’s not far away from the beach! Here the environment is super nice, in the middle of the jungle, giving super peaceful and calm vibes! And the staff is super nice and kind! Thank you all, hope to come back soon

If you are wanting excitement, nightlife and a lot of shops and bars then this is not the place for you.
It does give you access to north Bali - but there is still a lot of travelling involved - however if someone who knows the roads is driving then it is enjoyable and gives you the opportunity to take more notice of the scenery.
We loved staying in the Kelapa Retreat and Spa and we used the restaurant there for the whole of our stay.
The beach is lovely. It is long and suitable for surfing and swimming and walking along

If you're looking to get away from the crowds, look no further. We walked for an hour along the beach and met just a handful of people. Get here before they finish the motorway as I'm sure it won't be the same! The sea is a little bit rough, but the beach is amazing for walking.

The beaches here are relatively remote and crowd free.
The beaches here are relatively remote and crowd free. The surf can be challenging for general swimming, as can the rocks but it has a lovely vibe and the locals gather to socialise on the beach too, which adds to its interest as a place to visit. Authentic Bali! Pulukan Town is quote ordinary but nearby Medewi has a small strip of surf shops and good restaurants.

The newly established quaint place really stands out when you ride/pass by it on the beach front road. It is nicely set up with the infinity pool at the front and luscious garden everywhere you look. My 3nights stay was very pleasant. The room is cozy and quiet, it is equipped with everything you need with attention to details such as convenient locations to charge your phones. I love the touch of Indonesian &Balinese architectures and crafts. I looked forward to watch sunrise and sunset while sipping my drinks, maybe walking on the beach or swimming.
The restaurant serves great selection of breakfast. Fruit platter and the Health Bowl were my favorites. Lunch & Dinner menus offer variety choices from local dish, seafood to pastas, all are delicious with generous portions. I suggest to try the fish soup, shrimp with rice, bbq chicken with sweet potatoes, also their spaghetti napolitana. I highly recommend Wide Sands, it is indeed a great retreat by the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at Puri Dajuma.
We really enjoyed our stay at Puri Dajuma. The food was excellent. The staff really went out of their way to take care of us, from airport transfers to assisting to book activities. We enjoyed the snorkeling. Our room was beautiful with a lovely open bathroom. There was always fresh fruit for breakfast and flowers in our room in the evenings. The pools were clean and refreshing.

Surf here was fun- there’s the point and a few other little spots around here which break both left and right, and are pretty mellow and suitable for all levels. Local guys are very friendly and there’s nice vibes in the water. Locally there’s beautiful waterfalls to go and visit, and lovely little cafes and restaurants to eat at. I could have stayed here for much longer, because it’s so quiet and tranquil. I imagine I’ll be back very soon.
My friends and I were at AgaLiving for a short couple of nights stay to surf and enjoy Western Bali. Dawok, the manager, was awesome, friendly, and helped us with all our questions and needs. The Family Terrace where we stayed had a beautiful patio and 2nd floor balcony where we could check the surf. The AC worked well and the beds were comfy. The breakfasts are delicious, filling, and delivered to our room each morning. We look forward to staying at AgaLiving again the next time we visit Bali!
The hotel is set right on the beach, with the surf spot directly in front of the hotel. The pool is amazing. Its a small hotel with 12 rooms. We had a room with a Balcony overlooking the ocean. The ocean waves are constantly breaking and its a wondeful and relaxing atompshere. We got in room masssages on the balcony and it was like getting massages on the beach but with the comfort on having it in your room! I highly recommend if you want to go to Medewi!
It was our second time here. Staffs are always friendly, the breakfast was great, water pressure was great, plenty of place to hang out and chat, comfy beds... on top of that the staffs were friendly to sweet neighbor dogs, there was only one female dog when we were there few months ago, now there were 3. We were travelling with vets so we spayed them and now they wont multiply. Not only a great hotel, it is also kind💕nothing to complain about.
Rafi and Brad are welcoming hosts, friendly and interesting. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
The beach is across the road. We walked south to Bombora Hotel at Medewi for glorious sunset view and watched the surfers at the point. Back along the beach to the night market for dinner under the lights in the bean bags on the grass. Lovely atmosphere on a warm evening. Morning surfers were across the road..
Wide sands is a nice hotel in the middle of rice fields. You need to be prepared for the remote location (the nearest ATM is 5 km away), however this non-tourist area of the island is great to explore the raw beauty of Bali.
Wifi was working nicely (we watched netflix and I was working the while time).
2 pools are available and a beautiful black beach is right in front of the hotel.
Hi. The stay in AgaLiving was very nice. The value for money is superb. The staff is amazing; they organized the transport from the airport to the hotel and back. As well, I could rent a scooter for 50k and they picked up a surf board for me that I rented. Overall very friendly and helpful.
The location is very near to the beach and you can actually hear the waves of the ocean.
Great little hotel situated in a great spot to watch the surf. The restaurant was fantastic with a good selection of food all day and the staff are super friendly. The rooms are large, beautiful and clean. The wave itself is a nice beginner to intermediate wave when smaller and pretty challenging when big.
- pool was super fun, cool property with many activities
- friendly staff
- free transport to medewi beach
- amazing lobsters at warung right on medewi beach (not from hotel but definitely try it)
- when the tide goes out you can walk very far towards the sea
Spatious, cosy and comfortable room. Nice area in the garden where breakfast is served and where you can also have dinner. Friendly staff. Altogether, this is a nice place for a stopover on your coastal trip between Ubud/South Bali and Pemuteran/Lovina
Beautiful hotel, super clean facilities and good location to Pulukan Beach and Medewi Beach (2 minute on scooter). Hotel owner is super friendly and accommodating. Pool is clean and nice place to relax. Also have surf lessons and board hire!
Staff are extremely helpful and welcoming, we chose this place to relax and be as far away as possible from busy place. It turned out to be exactly what we needed. The location is perfect, the food is amazing, the hotel is magical.
Fantastic hotel across the road from the beach. Could hear the waves in the pool. Lovely pool and gardens. Big comfy rooms. Great shower. Delicious cafe 160m down the road with extensive menu and it overlooks the surf.
Everything was amazing! My first night i had to move a room because the air conditioning smelled bad, but without me asking for anything the hotel gave me a complimentary 60 min massage for the inconvenience
Ocean view is beautiful. Hotel has great installations. Kids love swimming pool. The stuff is very polite and helpful. It is a great option for us to travel with our beautiful dog (and cat)
beautiful hotel, clean, comfy, great ocean view, quality food in the restaurant. the staff is so helpful and friendly. definitely the first choice if I will come back to medewi!
Everything, beautiful resort. Amazingly friendly staff. Wonderful pools, great cultural activities offered by the hotel. Beautiful beach views. Free shuttle to town.
