We got into train station late so were glad the hotel was a quick 3 minute walk away. Good location close to Tram 1, too. Room was quiet on the top floor (4th). A little balcony off the room gave rooftop view. There's an elevator. Nice shower and spacious bathroom. Good WIFI.

One of the most beautiful towns in the world! I wish I had stayed longer as it makes for an excellent base whilst day tripping all around the Riviera! Opera club was a good night club recommendation I went to both nights and old Nice is just fabulous for a perfect laid back dinner and drinks.

After Covid closure, Nice is in decline.
After Covid closure, Nice is in decline. Many good restaurants have gone and are replaced by pubs with loud music. The overkill of american and british tourists specially in groups have a very negative influence on the atmosphere in the city. To avoid during summer season. Best go in spring or fall. Public transportation is good, take the bus or train direction Menton or Cannes. Plenty to do and visit.

We absolutely loved Nice we visited Eza which was a beautiful village to visit. So worth visiting to weave yr way around the old village and beautiful little shops. We also went to St. Tropez which was also grt to visit on the way we went to a village called Antibes so quaint where we watched the changing of the guards Some grt little shops and eateries. Well worth a visit. We did a private half day tour to Monaco with other scenic stops on the way. We stayed opposite the Mediterranean which had some beautiful eateries down on the beach. Nice is well worth a visit :)

I loved Nice.
I loved Nice. It is a great city, easy to get around, has friendly people, gorgeous scenery, and excellent cycling. The town is cycle-friendly, with many bike paths and bike lanes. Lots of excellent restaurants, shops, and attractions.
Neko is an amazing hostess, very charming, hospitable and I can say without hesitation that she truly became a good friend during these 8 nights. I also was told that I was the first Russian in her apartment, so I enjoyed a very special treatment and our conversations were a real cultural exchange, very enriching and helpful for a person like me who was for her first time in France! Her accommodation is located very close to the historical city center, too, and I had everything I needed there.
A short walk from Nice Ville station and surrounded by Chinatown style cafes and restaurants (arch a tram towards the old town to find more European fare), Warm welcome with tea and quick checkin and advice on sights. The very cosy room had a large bed (reducing floor space, but there’s lots of storage under the bed). Lovely views from the bathroom. The included breakfast was unexpectedly sumptuous for a small hotel. It’s a real highlight!!!!!
The location is perfect. The View is magnificent. You could just sit on the balcony and stare at the Mediterranean Sea from morning till night. The easiest access to both the train and the bus. The apartment was appointed perfectly with everything you could want or need. restaurants and shopping within minutes. we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to the beautiful city of Nice France.
We had a lovely large sea view room with a large bathroom - it was definitely worth paying the extra for the sea view.
A good buffet breakfast in very nice surroundings - a choice of sitting inside or out on the terrace.
The hotel is in a great position, within walking distance of Nice old town, market, beach, restaurants, shops and much more...
The staff were always cheerful and helpful. A special 'thank you' to Jessica
Location is good for a short stroll to beach, restaurants and old town but is still quiet, room was a good size for France and the hotel was nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast was acceptable if you want to take it and the staff are polite and professional also had parking which is rare. We had a balcony and could just glimpse the sea at the bottom of the street a bit of a bonus in all a good place to stay.
This was an attractive and clean apartment in the center of Old Town, Nice France. After a long day of exploring and shopping it was nice to return to a cozy and clean apartment. The location of this apartment was perfect. We walked from the train station to the apartment and saw many of the "Not to be missed" tourist attractions all on foot. There are also many fabulous restaurants within walking distance.
Fabio and the Team at Arome were exceptional. As soon as I got there, he made me feel at home. He provided me with a map and places to see, which was extremely helpful. In the morning, I got a croissant, which was delicious. I will be staying here in the future; Nice was one of the most beautiful places I visited in France. The accommodations and kindness of Fabio made it even more welcoming.
-beautiful: LOVED my room. Both modern and classic, well kept, very clean. Had my own terrace which I spent the evening on, enjoying the perfect south of france weather
-location: great location. Close to the promenade/beach clubs, close to a bunch of restaurants, a 10 minute walk from the old town and famous market
-people: the people who work there were very sweet and accommodating
Good location, they afford omelet, sausages and ham for the breakfast, not only croissants. The staff was excellent, very helpful, very nice. Our flight was late in the evening 22:40, and after check-out they offered to store our luggage till the time when we have to go to the airport, this is very nice, I think every hotel should have such service. Thank you Hotel de France.
It is one of the best places I stayed in France. It's really in the heart of the city, train station, tram lines are on walking distance.
The hostel is beautiful, clean. Staff is nicer n helpful.
Bar, kitchenette is available. They have happy hour 6-8 pm ( haven't used it but it's mentioned) .
Rooms, bathrooms r clean. In short they maintain standard. I liked it. :)
Spacious, comfortable & clean. Large fully stocked kitchen and even had a Nespresso machine! The soft large bath towels were the best we had on our month long trip through France. Great location close to buses, trams & train station and all the Old Town attractions. We would definitely stay here again. You can’t go wrong with Chez Kari!
The lobby is nice and the rooftop pool is very cool. They play house music at a low volume which creates a nice vibe. This is why we chose to stay here as there aren’t many hotels with pools in Nice. The pillows and bed were comfortable. The A/C worked well and the shower was nice when it functioned properly.
The hotel is situated in a great spot to explore old town Nice and walking distance to the tram. The interior decor is hip and fun which gives it a more boutique vibe. Great spot for those who want to be in the middle of everything and aren't looking for a relaxing vibe.
The location is superb with amazing views over the crescent of Nice bay. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast with views is a great start to the day. Highly recommend booking Castel Plage situated on the beach below the hotel for dinner or lunch.
Beautiful location with easy a access from airport via the Tram and stunning location on the beach. Access to Old town is simle and quick ( avoid those expensive Local Taxis )
Best hotel breakfast evder with oodles of choices and delicious fresh food.
Breakfast was slightly disappointing but overall this is a lovely hotel with friendly staff. I rate this hotel very highly and it is one of the best we have stayed at in France. We are returning for another two night stay.
We were flying the next day from the Nice airport, so the location was perfect. The breakfast (our last in France!) was wonderful. The staff were excellent and helpful. The bed was the best we had on our trip to France.
Lovely hotel and staff. Good relation price/quality. Tram stop just around the corner, and short walking distance to Place Garibaldi and the Old Town. Our superior room was very nice.
The hotel is in the best location in Nice. it’s walking distance to beach, restaurants, cafes, old town and everything.
All hotel staff are very nice, friendly and helpful.
