Lovely little coastal town with parking and good traditional Pubs like Kelly’s Bar well worth a visit you can leave the car behind and hop on the train into Cork it’s only a short trip away. Then you can shop away to your hearts content. I imagine that is a great option for the Cruise ship passengers when they visit. Oh and I don’t want to forget the restaurants like the Quays or the Titanic who look after all your needs.
Fabulous accommodation,&everything walking distance or easily accessible by car or train. Mary& Michael are lovely host beautiful home & great croissants in the morning. Really enjoyed our stay here would highly recommend.

Local businesses lacked the customer service mentality that seems prevalent throughout Ireland. Very few dining options, most of them full. Cobh is a small town easily covered in an afternoon, and nothing about the local populace invites much engagement. It was a drab experience overall.

Cobh is delightful, quite small but with many things to do mainly concerned with history of the town. It is associated with the Titanic, but amazingly the infrastructure for the big liners is still there: the White Star Line and Cunard offices are still there as is the train station which brought so many travellers to the town. There are plenty of good restaurants in the town and the town is very easy to get around. The only problem is the hilliness of the town. Also Cork city is very close by.

A picturesque little spot set on a steep hill.
A picturesque little spot set on a steep hill. Beautiful views, fantastic cathedral, interesting Titanic Experience museum. Trips out to Spike Island although we didn’t have time to visit. Easy distance for Cork City and Blarney Castle which are both recommended.
Wonderful old hotel, beautifully updated throughout. Excellent location right on the waterfront. Comfortably furnished, large bedrooms and baths, elevator is a huge plus, friendly and attentive staff!
Good food in the bar area, nice outside tables in front, overlooking the harbor, as you sip wine and beer.
Excellent location in the center of town, with live music on Friday nights in the Pavilion across the street.
Walking distance to the Titanic Experience and Immigration museum. An excellent choice for Cobh.
The best B&B we‘ve ever been to in Ireland. Location is top, train station and town centre within walking distance. Bedrooms ensuite are extremely large, beds/mattresses perfect and one of rooms with a wonderful view of the lake. Breakfast very comprehensive, egg dishes, salmon etc. every day.
But really unique are Marie & Joe! They anticipate your needs & wishes and give you really the feeling of beeing at home. Extremely responsive, kind and helpful. Next time in Cobh - 100% at Inver!!!
The staff was so helpful and accommodating. I wanted to order a birthday cake for my partner and Samuel arranged that for me before we arrived. He had been friendly and helpful, and catered to all our requests. We got an upgrade too and got a room at the top with sea view. The hotel had a bar which was really good and we spent a good bit of time over there as well. All local attractions were just 10 mins walk away.
Pam, the owner was a delight. Our room was warm when we arrived and Pam even reserved us a place to have dinner since we arrived at late afternoon.
The room was perfect and even more beautiful compared to the photos. We had the best breakfast here during our trip in Ireland. Soperb!
We will try to visit again during Summer. Totally recommend it if you want to visit Cobh, Cork and the Ring of Kerry.
At first we didn’t really prepare for being part of someone else’s home, and to be treated so well. The hosts are fantastic, made us feel very very welcome, a totally different and wonderful experience from any other b+b or hotel we have stayed in Ireland. View of the bay was wonderful, and the breakfast (with surprise twist) was also wonderful.
The beautifully decorated SeaView Apartment Suite is in a great location to enjoy the area of Cobh. Our host Bernadette met us there to let us in and gave us a tour of the apartment before handing over the keys. The kitchen was generously stocked with fruit, coffee, tea and biscuits to get us started.
right in the middle of Cobh .. but room noisy as there was a party going on for somebody’s birthday.. that being said hotel was convenient for local pubs and attractions and the staff were incredibly friendly .. more to do with the attitude of the local people I suspect than hotel policies.
We had nice rooms overlooking the water. Everything was sparkling clean and in good condition in this older hotel. The staff was very attentive. On property bar and restaurant with full breakfast buffet. Just steps from the Titanic Exhibit in downtown Cobh. It also has underground parking.
The West Beach House is beautiful and overlooks the water. I really enjoyed staying here. The owners are very welcoming, Mary’s fresh croissants in the morning were delicious! Room and bathroom are very clean and nicely furnished. A wonderful place to stay in Cobh!
Such an absolutely lovely home, right in the center of Cobh. there is so much attention to detail from the decor to appliances, to style and efficiency. Very communicative and quick to respond with the host. We truly love this sweet and unique little home.
Had a lovely stay in Cobh, at this charming top floor apartment. With lovely decor, and very well maintained. Very close to the center of Cobh. With lots around to see and do. Great communication from the host at all times. Highly recommended.
It is in a great central location in cobh right across from harbour and titanic museum.
The staff were v friendly and helpful especially the housekeeping and restaurant staff .
The hotel has a nice bar and restaurant
Wonderful stay! The host was so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was extensive and delicious! It’s also so close to town, and Cobh is such a beautiful town. Thank you again!
Extremely clean and comfortable apartment, everything brand new and much more space than a hotel. Towels were supersoft. Great tv set up. Super fast wifi. Very helpful when I had a query.
Nice stay in a good sized double room with a great view, the hotel was spotlessly clean. Small bar was cozy with a beautiful fireplace, Cobh itself is a fantastic place to visit.
