Loved everything. Ruby is a little heaven in the middle of the city. The little apartment is beautiful and well equipped. The "welcome package" including port wine, juice, milk and bread, is a lovely addition. The garden gives you a feeling of being in the countryside, not a big city, and is perfect for a pleasant breakfast, drinks or dinner. However, the best part are the hosts: Miguel and wife, who make everyone feel so welcome, and take personal care of each guest. I had so many interesting conversations with Miguel, and the hug I received when I left was heart warming. After 10 days in Ruby, I feel I made new friends in Porto. Will definitely return as soon as possible.

He has lived in the same 'block' his entire life and shared the best places to eat, visit and how to get around with a conscious effort on value for your money. He always had a smile, was genuine and extremely flexible. It was a wonderful weekend get away from Lisboa and met our needs to stay in a house, not a hotel.

Everything looked new and very clean. Air conditioning in all rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped. It even includes an airfryer and a freezer. Several times we got fresh fish in a nearby supermarket and prepared it ourselves. Nice sitting room with comfortable sofa and large TV screen. That was nice as we had some days with heavy rain. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a large shower. Just be aware that the bedrooms are upstairs with about 15 steps to climb. Shopping is easy. There are several supermarkets in the area. The appartement is very conveniently situated. It’s a 10 min walk to the shopping area around Bolhao. The metro station Trindade is just 5 min away. Check-in was easy as we could pick up the keys directly at the apartment. We didn’t find the safe box at first. It is directly at the entrance to the apartment. Communication was friendly and easy.

I usually travel a lot and stay at fancy places ( hotels or apartments), but my stay at Boavista Luxury Villas was something I’ve never experienced before. During the check Marta met us & literally helped us dragging our luggage ! she was very polite , friendly & helpful ! The apartment itself was spotless, exactly like the pictures if not prettier, it smelled perfect, the beddings, towels, & furniture were of exceptional comfort & quality. This property had excellent wifi connection. The location is excellent.I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone of my family & friends.

The apartment was fantastic!! Quiet area, small but well furnished grocery store a few meters away. A bus station with good service downtown was a one minute walk from the apartment. Free parking on the street. But againthe apartment itself was the highlight!!!
