My family and I stayed at the Villa Reis on two separate occasions during our trip to South Africa in May. The property exceeded our expectations. The staff was terrific; the rooms were spacious, light, airy, and comfortable. The food prepared by chefs (Goodwill and Carmelo) was exceptional. While the entire experience was phenomenal, the staff was the jewel of the experience. They made us feel safe, welcomed, and at home. If you want a secure, spacious, and comfortable place to stay in Johannesburg with a magnificent on-the-ground staff, the Villa Reis is it.
