United KingdomThere was no furniture on the terrace outside our bedroom (maybe because it is still winter). Given the weather was sunny and warm, we would have enjoyed the idea of relaxing our apres-ski time there.
Newly rennovated historical hotel lovingly run by hands-on husband and wife. The full panoramic view of Courmayeur from the dining room and the becroom with a large terrace. Located at the end of Via della Vittoria which leads directly to the Doronne cable car straight to the ski slopes (400m). On the way back from the mountains, we could ski down to Fun Park to walk back for shorter distance. Wondering through the stone-build historical village was lovely. The main town of Courmayeur was on the other side of the river and a 10 minutes walk (800m). The breakfast and dinner were high quality, served with a good selection of local Aosta valley grape varieties (Torrette, Cornalin, Petit Rouge, Fumin, etc.). The service was charming and attentive. Large ski room with a mini museum of local (and family?) history. Plenty of private parking both indoor and outdoor. We will be back.

The staff is incredible. Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. For example I showed up at the end of breakfast and they still let me eat and brought me out hot tea. Upon arriving at night it was cold and the restraurant was closed but I saw the manager and she gladly made me a kettle of hot tea to bring to my room (no charge and big welcoming smile on her face). I will surely stay here during my next visit. PS - the beds are very comfortable and I had a great night sleep. Also loved the view from room 138.

NetherlandsMy partner and I had an amazing time at Hotel Des Glaciers. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The hotel is in a beautiful spot in Courmayeur, surrounded by mountains and the Mont Blanc. The views were stunning and made our stay even more special. What really made our stay stand out was the fantastic service, especially from Francesca and Alberto. They were so kind and helpful, making sure we were comfortable and giving us great suggestions for things to do in Courmayeur. Our room was cozy and clean, a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The hotel had everything we needed and more. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed a mix of local and international dishes that satisfied our taste buds. In short, our stay at Hotel Des Glaciers exceeded our expectations. The beautiful location, excellent service, and Francesca and Alberto kindness made it a trip to remember. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special time in Courmayeur. SingaporeDo be aware this hotel like others on Courmayeur isn't built for warm summers. Our room had no window, just a door opening onto a terrace that was shared with other rooms. As the night was warm, we had to keep the door open all night long while hoping no one would intrude. This hotel has a good view but is away from the town centre. Most hotels there are unlikely to have a nice view though as it's quite a densely built-up town.
Francesca runs a lovely boutique small hotel that feels both homey and professional. Parking available underground and breakfast was adequate.
