Good location. The hosts are really nice. Love the food. Clean room / bathroom and cozy bed. Everything is exceptional. They can definitely up their charges with the level of service they are providing. We weren't expecting much as we got it for a low price, but the whole time I keep on mouthing to my husband how nice the hosts are, very welcoming. Affordable room price - breakfast is included. They serve different options for continental and traditional full English breakfast. Top marks on the service, host was very keen to check what they can help with. To add, the direction to the hotel was very clear, we did not struggle locating the place. Worth booking.

Breakfast was lovely, cooked to perfection. Grapefruit with yoghurt was great.
The drinks were cheap for hotels and even pubs.
The staff where polite and helpful. They carried my bags to and from my room. I am disabled and would recommend the hotel.

Newquay has that laidback feel that goes hand in hand with being England’s undisputed surfing capital. The centre of the action is Fistral Beach whose swells and Cribbar Reef produce some of the largest breakers in the British Isles. The long, sandy beach is backed by tall dunes which give way to Newquay Golf Club.
Great Western Beach lies below sheer cliffs one street from the train station, while Towan Beach by the picturesque harbour is the closest to the town centre. Tolcarne Beach is sheltered in its own bay, as is the wide stretch of sand at Porth Beach whose northern coastline is 2 rocky headlands joined by a narrow footbridge over the sea.
Each beach is overlooked by luxury hotels with spas, cheap hostels and self-catering apartments on Booking.com. All are surrounded by Newquay’s restaurants, bars and clubs which offer the best nightlife this side of Bristol.
More leisurely pursuits include Trerice manor house in the countryside near the Lappa Valley Steam Railway. Buccaneer Bay and the Blue Reef Aquarium are popular with families, as are Waterworld and Newquay Zoo within Trenance Gardens.
Another favoured spot for a walk are the salt marshes by the River Gannel which is a prominent sight as you descend into Newquay Cornwall Airport.

I was only in Newquay for a short time to attend an event at the zoo and therefore did not have time to look around the town or visit the beach. My walk to and from the station was through an area of shops, restaurants and bars and while not picturesque was clean and tidy. The beach I viewed from a distance looked sandy and clean.

Newquay for us is a good 5 hour drive away but every year we always come back for a week. We love how dog friendly the area is. The bars and restaurants are amazing around here and I’ve genuinely never been dissatisfied. The staff in all the hotels and bars are super helpful and any special requests you have are always met. If I had the chance I would move to Newquay to live as it’s that nice of a place and the people around here are so friendly. Cove 24, Fort Inn, Secret Garden, 12 Beach Rd and The Boathouse are all 10/10 places to eat. We will forever continue to come back to this little gem of a town.

The best thing about Newquay for me is the magnificent coastline of dramatic cliffs, rock pinnacles and sandy beaches - unsurpassed for a seaside town I have been to in my 75 years. For drivers the town is badly signposted but this is typical throughout Cornwall. I was hoping for more live music events but it seems the last week in April is not the time for these. I thought the Irish Bar next to the Victoria Hotel, frankly, grim. Not much else to say that makes this town much different from countless others in the UK.

Room was beautiful all staff we spoke to very friendly and helpful especially the lady on reception
A short walk down to Newquay were there is plenty of bars and restaurants
Would recommend to stay here
Sea view room, best view of the sunset you could wish for. Opposite a choice of stunning beaches. Being slightly out of the town centre, even though on a busy road, it was probably a quieter location to stay in given some of the lively guests staying in Newquay! Breakfast was excellent, buffet style with choice of full English, cereal, toast, pastries, fruit, juices etc. The dining room is a lovely big old fashioned room with huge windows over looking the sea. The hotel had ample on site parking which in Cornwall is a huge bonus.
A little bit out of the centre of Newquay, but hourly buses if you don't want to drive. Lovely quieter beaches locally, but access can be difficult with people with disabilities. Also, no lift at the hotel. I would have liked a bit of variation with the full English. I e. Sometimes beans would have been a nice change, or the option of scrambled egg rather than fried overall good value for money. Laura and Kev were the perfect hosts and I would hope we can return in the future. X
Truly amazing place in perfect location. The owners have everything under the control which makes the facilities top notch! Friendly, well organised, clean. Superb breakfast! The location couldn't be more perfect-amazing walks on your doorstep, two beaches (Porth Beach and Whipsiderry-a true gem!) in 2mins walk. 20 mins pleasant walk to the east to Watergate Bay. 20 mins pleasant walk to the west to busy Newquay town centre. We would come back to this hotel-definitely yes!
Really liked this hotel, rooms were really good size, I had a family room with a sea view, I have an 8 month old and 13 year old, it had an adjoining bedroom for my son who’s 13 and likes his own space so was brilliant for that! The breakfast was good, the staff were really friendly and also had a lovely restaurant which we used 1 night, food was really good! It was close to newquay centre and the beaches, really enjoyed our stay will definitely go back!
The location was superb, just in the heart of the tourist area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The beach was 5 min walk from the hotel. If you're lucky, you may get a seaview room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Tried to give us comfort as much as possible. We got a roadside room which was kind of a busy road but the noise wasn't that extreme. The bed was comfy. Overall we had a very nice time.
Ideal location close to two sandy beaches.. 5/10min walk to Lusty glaze beach. 20min walk to Newquay town centre with so many places to eat drink etc. we went in March 22 so no parking problems in the hotel car park. nice bar and pool was undergoing full renovation so should be ready for the summer season. excellent breakfast and dining area.
The Atlantic Hotel is wonderful! The location is just beautiful, perched on the cliffs looking over Newquay and the water. We were extremely lucky with the sun shining for the duration of our stay. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, with a special mention to Denise on check-in.
Audrey welcomed us in a friendly way and showed us our lovely accommodation. She provided everything we needed in the well equipped kitchen from teabags to milk and more. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. We parked our car on the large drive which was a short walk from the centre of Newquay. Highly recommended.
Great dog friendly B&B in centre of Newquay 😍
Lovely helpful owners 🥰
Delicious breakfast 😋
Sunset 🌅 view from the room on first floor
Dog friendly hotel, dogs allowed in dining room🦮
very close to the all year dog friendly beach 🏖️
Good size bathroom and room with small fridge
Definitely will come back 🌞
Excellent location comfortable modern room. Can't comment on the breakfast as we overslept. Great friendly staff who couldn't have done much more for us. In fact Simon one of the owners even ran us down to the station with our luggage in his own car. Can't comment on anything negative about this hotel.
View from the room was great, more than expected. The room was a good size and good to have a private bathroom also. Great location in the centre of Newquay and entertainment facilities were beyond expectation as well. If you want a cheap and reasonable place to stay, this is a good place to crash.
The fresh loaf, butter, milk and biscuits were a welcome surprise on our arrival. Everything was provided and it was ideal for our little dog too. Liked the fact that you had designated parking. It was very well situated for central Newquay and the beaches.
Super clean, really friendly hosts, great location (middle of city centre) and really comfy beds. Not so soft, not too hard. Would definitely book again!
Parking: the manor car park is just 1-2 min walk from the hotel. Payed parking.
The host is very friendly and very happy to accommodate any needs you may have. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with attention to detail. Good location near the beautiful side of Newquay and Tolcarne beach.
Absolutely loved staying here! The property was absolutely gorgeous - really tastefully decorated, absolutely PERFECT location for Fistral and Newquay town centre and really fab value for money for our trip!
I really like the location because it's near to the beach, restaurants and shops. I also like all the staffs for being nice and hospitable. The whole hotel area are very neat and have a cozy restaurants.
