The staff were really welcoming and it was such a lovely setting. It was nice to relax after a busy day at the pleasure beach with the kids. We especially loved the outdoor pods which we were able to use at night. Although it was raining the pods were under cover and had heating and lights so we wasn't cold. We also made use of the Bluetooth speaker we could get from reception and had a lovely time singing

Skegness is your typical seaside resort, on a decent day it was fine but the weather was dreadful so we found little to do. We did the dinosaur world and aquatic centre but unless you like arcades there isn't much else. The rides in the theme park closed due to the weather so we were left wondering around and going back to the site. On a good day however the beach is lovely, there's donkeys, a fair ground, outdoor swimming at the nearby leisure centre, crazy golf and the usual seaside stuff.
The food can be costly and gluten free fish & chips x 3 cost nearly £50 which I thought was steep. There was plenty of chip shops you could shop around for a better deal as long as you don't have allergy's. There are supermarkets locally so if your like us and you have cooking facilities it's easy to do your own food.
We have an electric car and quick chargers are few and far between. There is one at the Co-Op but it's a max 1hr stay and if you end up queuing for it then you don't get a full charge. There are slow chargers at B&M so if parking for the day it's OK but expensive.
On the whole Skegness is great for families and kids of all ages

Dont believe all the negative reviews about Skegness being the worst seaside resort in the Country - even today 14/05/24 in the Daily Telegraph online version an article was proclaiming such!
I first went when to Skegness / Ingoldmells when 13 back in 1975 and while I left an almost 40 year gap between my follow-up visit in 2014 - I return several times a year in summer ever since and always look forward to it for a cost effective break & good fresh sea clean air.
I also go to Blackpool, Bournemouth as frequently as I do Skegness and while all three places & beaches have their own unique appeal - Me personally I think Skegness is better that Blackpool & Bournemouth - I prefer the beach to the other two & the cost if you know where to go & when to book is way cheaper than going to Bournemouth and probably on par with Blackpool.

Old school family holiday destination.
Old school family holiday destination. Fun fair, crazy golf, donkey rides, arcades, parks, aquarium and nature land seal sanctuary. Skegness has everything from chip shops, icecreams, donuts and seaside rock. For the adults there’s shops, bars and nightlife and the embassy theatre for an excellent show.

I loved Natureland Seal Sanctuary and the Aquarium.
I loved Natureland Seal Sanctuary and the Aquarium. I walked for miles along the seafront and enjoyed Slushies and Ice cream from stalls near the clock tower. My favourite meal was a crab salad from the Seafood cafe near the Tower Gardens

Skegness caters for all ages, whether you want a thrill with the available fun parks (ideal for kids) or to sit and relax, enjoying the scenery. Plenty of choices for fish and chips, always a must! Plus other options of great food is available. The resort has a brilliant bus service, travelling to neighbouring locations with friendly helpful bus staff.
A very clean and presentable caravan, well kitted out and very comfortable.
The caravan is in a great location with plenty of facilities nearby.
Skegness caravans were very good to deal with and when the next trip is planned i will be in touch with this company.
Can i just add, i am one that says it as it is and will always give credit where it is due.
The Ivernia, has a lovely location, is at the southern end of Skegness, away from well basically all the holiday home (caravan) parks, but is honestly a five-minute walk from the sea or the busy Town Centre. The staff were very professional but also friendly which is becoming rare these days
No Breakfast as there was a staff shortage - we were informed beforehand.
Room clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee & toiletries provided.
5 minutes walk away from town centre.
Manager enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Skegness and full of fun.
I was surprised by the quality of the staff all very polite and friendly. The hotel food is excellent, as is the service. The location on the seafront is fantastic to enjoy the amenities Skegness has to offer. I personally can not fault the savoy
close to all I needed to see in Skegness great location. Staff efficient and pleasant My room was a little tired and carpet was stained but it didnt detract from my visit. Rooms were clean beds made up nicely and linen and towels clean
The staff were friendly & professional and the room was clean & comfortable which made my stay here a pleasant experience. The hotel is located about one mile from the centre of Skegness and 30 seconds walk to the nearby beach.
We decided to stay over in Skegness this was booked very last minute, really close to town centre, details were sent via text as my phone battery was about to die. All very helpful would definitely stay again
Lovely hotel in lovely grounds with a good sized car park, reception staff very helpful and friendly, in our opinion well worth the 15 minute walk into Skegness centre. Will definitely use again.
Hotel was fine but looking a bit tired & in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was good. Location is very convenient for Skegness town. Great there is free parking available at the hotel.
The location was great, a short walking distance into the main town centre and there was ample parking. The hotel was old but full of charm. The meals/food was good and great value.
Decent location, situated on a quiet road about 10 minutes level walk from the town centre and the seafront. A spacious room, accommodation clean and tidy. A lovely breakfast.
The worst hotel in skegness, avoid booking this place.
no answer, no support and lack of customer service.
