The hotel was modern and stylish with a great ambience. The room was very large and spacious with a large comfy bed bed and excellent bathroom. The car park was beneath the hotel and easily accessible via the lift. Although the hotel was busy when we arrived the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We did not try the breakfast. Overall the hotel was good value for money.

Very small comfortable city with good sights and good food. French or Alsace specialities are much hyped but if some meat with sauerkraut and flammkuchen are their flagship dishes, then they have a long way to go.

Colmar is a stunning old town that is easily walkable.
Colmar is a stunning old town that is easily walkable. It’s equally stunning at night. There are endless restaurants and places to have a drink.
It does get a bit noisy at night and I think more care must be taken by locals at night bombing through the streets after dark.

The old town itself is delightful, and the rather short but serene river boat ride not to be missed. The Tram ride is worthwhile...a bit bumpy, and in German, but the ride presents you with a sketch of which parts of the town are right for you to explore.
On the other hand, parking for the hotels in Old Town is awful...one has to park very far away and drag suitcases to the your hotel, unless your hotel has a person who, for a good tip, can do that for you. The city fathers should at least allow taxis to do this for tourists.

I loved the fairytale feeling of Colmar.
I loved the fairytale feeling of Colmar. I also love the location. I was able to visit several other fairytale villages in France and then go into Germany and Switzerland as well. The wine is better than I expected also.

It's like a fairytale city which I always wanted to visit. It's so quiet and nice.
For dinner the restaurants are open from 7 pm to 9:30 pm or latest 10 pm.
Prices are a bit too high though. Around 25 euros only for the main dish for a person.
There are not coffee specialty places. Wherever I bought a cappuccino it was not the best, quite average I would say if you are a coffee lover.

Colmar is in a great location for people interested in the wineries of Alsace. We booked a private wine tour and visited several beautiful old villages and three wineries. I highly recommend this activity. We also highly recommend the Unterlinden Museum (the Issenheim Altarpiece is amazing) and the Bartholdi Museum. If you are able to prepare your own meals, the covered market in Colmar is a great place to shop for local foods and produce and it is located near Little Venice, so it's a scenic stroll. We took the bus to see the replica Statue of Liberty and I wouldn't recommend this activity unless you have a car. The statue is situated on an extremely busy roundabout so we were unable to get close to it - I'm really not sure how people on Instagram managed to get their amazing photos. Finally, if you are travelling during Lent, check to see when the Colmar Carnaval is being held. We personally did not enjoy the noise and the crowds, but we weren't expecting it since we didn't know about the Carnaval before travelling.
The location is ideal and the hosts have a wonderful slice of heaven within this quaint town. Breakfast was delicious though we had to rush through it to catch a train (1.5 blocks from the train station and a 10-minute walk into the heart of town).
We booked two rooms for our family of 4 and they were fantastic. They were on the 1st floor of the inn and allowed for plenty of space. We were extremely comfortable, particularly in the air-conditioned rooms since there was quite a heat wave occurring in France.
Excellent Hotel, the staff is extremely nice and professional. Rooms with enough space for a couple. You can start your day enjoying every morning a delicious breakfast, included for all guests, is plenty and quality. The location is good but not so close to City Centre, maybe around 25 minutes walking. When you visit Colmar, try to rent a car, this way will be easiest and fastest in order to enjoy Alsace and all the beautiful and amazing small villages in the area
The hotel is at the edge of downtown Colmar, literally. The hotel outside is not nice but inside the lobby it is cozy and the staff is very kind. Good that over the corner the passage leads to the attractions in the heart of the city.
The rooms are very small but in France it is rather standard. The bed was extra large and very comfortable. Although the window looked at the street, it was quiet. Breakfast was not four star but acceptable.
This place is truly magnificent.
This is my second stay at this hotel, previously I stayed in double rooms, this time I came with my larger family and stayed in a 3-bedroom apartment. If this place is available in Colmar, I don't think I'll look elsewhere.
As an interior architect who has traveled and knows all over the world, and as a lover of history, art and aesthetics, I congratulate those who thought, designed and built this place.
The accommodation was excellent. Everything is very clean and tidy. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed every day. The employees are very hospitable and helpful. There are excellent restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel, and the bus station to the city is close by, in 10 minutes you are in the city center. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Colmar.
We have stayed here before on our way to/from our home in Italy. An excellent Hotel with pleasant and friendly Staff who are always helpful. A great Bar area and Food if required. A large bedroom with spotless bed linen together with a great shower & toiletries and plenty of towels. Comfortable and quiet. A great location with easy parking- very close to Colmar centre and all its attractions.
The hotel is within easy walk to the centre of Colmar, but located in lovely residential area with nice houses to look at.
I appreciated that for cosy location it has a private car park.
I liked that the economy family room was reasonable in size, it was the only room left when I booked it 2 days before arrived during peak tourist season in August and I expected it to be cramped.
Being bikers, the hotel is in an ideal spot between the UK and the Dolomites, whilst also having underground parking. The hotel is clean, the decor is modern and well maintained and the food is wonderful. The staff were friendly and professional and it's just a short stroll from the amazing fairy tale of Colmar, so after dinner have a wander.....the sights are amazing.
We only had the one night as we were heading South to Spain. We liked the comfortable beds in a very clean room. The hotel had a good sized car park both in front and at the back of the hotel. Also it was close enough to walk out and visit the old town centre of Colmar. The substantial breakfast and of good quality was an extra 11 euro pp.
The accommodation was exceptional!
The location was perfect, situated in the centre of Colmar old town.
The apartments were beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you could need.
The concierge Franck was extremely welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay.
We would definitely stay here again.
24 hour reception was convenient. Close to bus stop (necessary to visit historical centre). One of the more affordable accommodations in Colmar. Staff was nice to allow us to have breakfast even though we arrived just when it was finished, and were good to check us in when we arrived very late at night.
The hotel was located in close proximity to the main train station, which also had buses to the centre of Colmar. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the room, which was quiet, comfortable, and clean. The buffet breakfast offered had a good selection to start the day.
SUCH a charming hotel that really did exceed my expectations. The staff is incredibly friendly and the hotel is just really cute. It's easy to wall there from the train & then to get into the picturesque parts of Colmar. There's also a parking lot out front if you're driving in.
The location of this hotel is walkable to the historic old town Colmar. The staff was extremely friendly.
We asked for recommendations for dinner and they made reservation at the place next door. The food was very good! If we go back to Colmar we will revisit Paul & Pia😉
The interior and exterior design of the hotel is really special. Excellent location in the centre of Colmar while also being very quiet. Spotlessly clean, excellent staff and facilities. There is a lot of attention to detail which makes this a special hotel.
Great stay at Greet Colmar! The hotel has all comforts (plus a free parking inside) and it takes just 10-15min walk to the centre.
Perfect location for a 1-2 day visit in Colmar.
Cozy family run hotel steps away from Colmar’s center. Very clean rooms stocked with the necessary amenities. Extremely helpful staff that spoke English.
