Neidin is the Irish word for Kenmare and translates to Little Nest. A Little Nest is exactly what was envisaged in 1790 when The Lansdowne first opened its door.

I traveled around Ireland for two weeks and stayed in several cities. Kenmare was one of my favorites for shopping, access to music, scenery and the BEST lodging and restaurant at Brooklane. Highly recommend both!

We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

Kenmare was a lovely town and the alternative B & B we found was friendly and welcoming and provided a wonderful breakfast. We stayed at Davitts for the second two nights and ate there and it was great.
Clean and spacious with everything you need. Perfect location to explore ring of kerry and Kenmare, town tucked away on a side street with two free car parks close by. Even though we were directly above the cafe it wasn’t noisy. Bed was comfy, Netflix and Amazon prime kept us company while fighting jet lag. I’d book here again and recommend to friends. We purchased meat and cheeses across the street and enjoyed pre dinner with the window open. Also the food in the cafe was really good. So cute and perfect stay!
A very warm welcome on our arrival from Lucy the owner who always had time for a chat. Situated in the town centre it is close to the shops, restaurants and bars and it is a good base for touring the local area.
Our room was spacious and warm and our bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was fabulous with the American Style Pancakes and Eggs Benedict the best we ever had.
We had a lovely time in Kenmare despite the bad weather and we look forward to returning an we will definitely stay with Lucy again.
From the very first meeting of the host Patricia we felt so comfortable and welcomed! The BnB was very cosy and super clean and quiet, room had everything you need, bed super comfy. Breakfast was delicious, a wide variety of food to offer, Patricia was very accommodating. Just a short walk into Kenmare town centre, which was very safe to walk. Definitely coming back for another stay it really felt like a home away from home :-) thank you too Patricia and staff!
The apartment was lovely cosy and clean. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and was well set up for self catering with family. We had a highchair and cot set up for us when we arrived which was so appreciated. Loads of space in the bedrooms too.
The welcome was typically Irish and friendly.
Kenmare is such a lovely town also.
Great stay, thank you!
Kathleen recommended two EXCELLENT restaurants for our two dinners, both within walking distance. Kenmare is a charming town, much less congested than Killarney, and we were able to head out early on the Ring of Kerry and miss the tour bus crowds. Although close to town, the property is very quiet.
Loved the sweeping views without another house in sight, yet so close to the vibrant town of Kenmare. Great space for shared activities and wished I had my yoga mat as the large glass doors and spacious living areas would make an excellent meditation space.
Located 2 km away from Kenmare village center, this b&b is charming and quiet. The room was spacious to fit our whole family, and the en-suite functioned properly.
The breakfast was great, with fresh food and great selection.
Cozy B&B a short walk from Kenmare town (10 minutes) with plenty of parking if you're arriving by car. Room was comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were excellent. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
Location in the centre of town. While not really having there own car park it was easy to park close to the hotel. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Room was large and comfortable and very quiet.
Right in downtown Kenmare, walking distance to church, had a kitchenette with glassware, fridge, coffee pot and a spacious bathroom. Water pressure was unbelievable and hot water was immediate.
Downtown Kenmare was just a short walk from the B&B which was very convenient. Breakfast was delicious and was made to order (including many options like eggs, pancakes, cereals, etc)
Very nice and welcoming hosts, and of course - Dirk the dachshund was a star. Breakfast was generous and tasty. Views of Kenmare were amazing and the hotel is a 5 min drive to town.
The location is good. A 5 minute walk to town centre. I found the young employees the friendliest ie Adam who cleaned my hotel room had wonderful customer service skills.
