The room I was in was comfortable. The shower room was very good just the heated towel rail a little hard to reach .
The overall location ( very close to Chatsworth house) was very good.

Fantastic find.
Fantastic find. Needed a stopover whilst working in the area. Mixing work and pleasure, the Devonshire was all pleasure. Good location, (after a fabulous dinner we had a fabulous evening walk from the hotel in the nearby Chatsworth estate. Great value for money. Wonderful staff; friendly, welcoming, helpful and hospitable. Comfortable, clean room, good food. Highly recommend and will be back.

Baslow is a fab place.
Baslow is a fab place. It has lots to offer, including The Cavendish Hotel, which is amazing! There are lots of places to eat, with a variety of styles. It is easy to get round Baslow. I don't need to avoid anything in Baslow, it's got everything I like.Jenny - 8.0Scored 8.0

A pretty village with a couple of independent shops, restaurants and pubs (can highly recommend the food at the Prince of Wales.) The main attraction is Chatsworth though which is fabulous and never disappoints!

The room was spacious and decorated so nice! It felt cozy and luxurious. We loved the breakfast. You could tell it was made with love. Bonus that the food was all sourced from local farms in the area. Such an amazing value for a really unique experience. The property manager was kind, helpful, and check-in/ out was so easy! Pretty clean too, although the mattress wasn't the most comfortable and the room does show its age. Lots of counter space in the bathroom to spread out toiletries and share with another person. Also, the location is fantastic for visiting Chatsworth - about a 7 minute drive. She really made my girlfriend's 50th special. The flowers in the room were amazing and even more so finding out they came from the Chatsworth estate gardens. We stayed in Bubnell loved the bed, the shower was amazing amd loved the large chicken on the window sill. Even the weather played ball for the couple of days. There’s also a nice pub next door to eat/drink. The breakfast was amazing and was great quality. The extras, such as being able to help yourself to fresh cakes, water and the mini fridge drinks was a lovely touch. Love the light and sound controls in the bedrooms. Lovely decor in the bedroom. The hosts were very friendly.

The kitchen was well equipped, there was a radio and Bob Marley CD, there were games and DVDs, temple spa toiletries, nice jams and biscuits and a beautiful enclosed outdoor area (more enclosed than the pictures suggests). There was so many nice places nearby to eat and drink and amazing walks within a stone's throw, it was perfect.
