Belfast is a really appealing city, with lots of attractions for any visitor to see. The centre of Belfast is quite compact and easy to walk around. There are a many restaurants with an excellent selection of menus. The traditional pubs are a must see. Have a pint of Guinness and you’ll be happy to chat with the other visitors. One such pub is The Crown. Its tiled exterior is a wonder to behold. The interior has a fantastic bar and a selection of private booths, where you can enjoy a great time over a drink.

We came to Belfast primarily to meet friends from the US on a coach tour. We had a lovely evening together. While in the city we booked a trip to go to see amongst other things the Giants Causeway this was excellent. City Tours. We spent a day exploring the Maritime Mile including the Titanic Experience. Well worth a day and needed. From what we saw we have decided to return to Northern Ireland to do a road trip. A country which needs exploring.

Seeing as I’m from Northern Ireland of course I’m going to be positive about our country, friendliness and our generosity.. Belfast has lots to offer but can I suggest that visitors/tourists head out of the city and travel West of the Bann, explore what’s on offer across other parts of beautiful Northern Ireland and enjoy the easy-going life beyond city life.. you’ll be amazed!

Amazing stay- Jim (owner) had great communication with us and was friendly and charity when we saw him face to face. Hotel was easy to access and in a good location (easy to get a bus to the city centre and not too expensive in a taxi- top tip Uber isn’t very reliable in Belfast, try a local firm) Breakfast, tea, coffee, juice was help yourself in the communal kitchen - which we thought was a brilliant idea. We had a double, en suite room. Perfect size for us. Would 100% recommend !!

The host was really friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me some books and maps for finding the best ways to hike in northern ireland. The best part was the kitchen, which made me feel like at home. The breakfast options are good, although it didn't include eggs, but the host was generous enough to accommodate that as well. Moreover, the location is very ideal for someone who's coming to Queen’s University as it is very near and a lot of restaurants and good pubs nearby.
