Location is good, easy to arrive to the hotel in public transportation. It is a small boutique hotel. Not too fancy but it is okay. Close to restaurants and bars.
I don't mind small rooms so if it is an issue for you, then take notice.
For the price of the room I expected more, but thankfully I paid less using my Genius discount.

Tel Aviv is an interesting city in the diversity of its habitat and its population. There is a good choice of museums there. The beaches are superb. It is easy to get around by bus or metro. We made the round trip to Jerusalem easily and quickly by train.

I can't answer because I live in Israel and went because I had an early appointment and didn't want to have to get up so early as to be sure to arrive on time. I wanted to be relaxed.
I did find the average person to be pleasant, friendly and helpful which was nice for a big city. The beach is fabulous and accessible. If you want to combine culture and a resort feeling, TA is a good place. You won't find Ancient Israel here but it had what every major city anywhere does. It's one of the most expensive cities in the World, so be prepared.

I found Tel Aviv very relaxing, welcoming, full of history and architecture place. It has an awesome beach promenade with perfect views, runners, surfers, good signers. We admired the number of people doing sports, playing games, walking down the promenade.

We came not only to help the country at such a difficult time, but also to reconnect with family and friends. Tel Aviv is a vibrant, bustling city...if you've never been you'll notice that Israelis are loud and somewhat impatient. There's more car horns honked here than anywhere else. The bus system is terrific and it's easy to get around, either by bus or train. There are some wonderful museums here, particularly the ANU Museum at Tel Aviv University in Ramat Aviv. The Carmel Market and Nahalat Binyamina are great outdoor markets. Most things are within walking distance of the hotel, and if not, then a short bus ride. The train station that takes you to Jerusalem is within walking distance as well and the train ride is less than an hour. If you're a beach person, the entire coastline is beaches with a boardwalk and a carousel. And the food in restaurants is terrific! We didn't have a bad meal while here. And the bakeries are to die for. Israelis are so grateful for the support they receive from tourists and we made many friends along the way, from shop keepers to hotel staff. A very worthwhile trip!
The place was amazing, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. they upgraded our room for a nicer one and they gifted us a bottle of wine for my partner's birthday. We also got a complementary 15 minute massage. The breakfast was also very nice and tasty. The location of the hotel is amazing. Right across from Hilton beach and 10 minutes away from a very nice street with lots of bars and nice restaurants. My partner and I had a blast at Shalom Hotel & Relax Atlas Boutique Hotel and we would definitely come back again.
The single room was extremely quiet and comfortable. If you like to walk, many locations are easily accessible from this hotel. I was walked to Old Jaffa, the beaches, the Carmel Market and many other places. There are hundreds of restaurants of all types within walking distance as well. The area is safe and the vibe of Tel Aviv is all around you. To top it off, the breakfast here is possibly the best I have ever had while traveling, although I understand that it is common to have extraordinary breakfasts in Israel.
A nice but simple hotel near the beach in Tel Aviv. The location is great, even if I didn't avail myself of all the sea and sand. The area has many places to eat, and one is just a short walk from the center of the city with all its amazing cultural attractions. I appreciated the fact that breakfast took account of the dietary restrictions for Passover. While this is no luxury hotel, it is clean and comfortable and provides all one could ask for, including a nice breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is the best I have stayed at in Tel Aviv! The rooms are clean and modern with a lot of light. The suburb is amazing with so many excellent cafes and bars nearby. The beach is a little further away but it is an easy ride on a lime scooter, plus if you have a car you can park on the street outside of the hotel which you cant do at the beach hotels! The staff are also extremely nice and so helpful if you need anything, I would definitely recommend!
Very helpful staff and excellent value for money in Tel Aviv. You have the privacy of a hotel but with the social aspect of a hostel. They provide complimentary bath robes which is a lovely touch. The location is right on the beach front, close to Jaffa and Carmel market; and there are convenient bus stops close by. They operate on a digital key system which I enjoyed but you can request a physical key card if you prefer
We only staid for one night and chose the hotel for its location (close to the beach). The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Our flight back was late at night, and they made arrangements for our luggage so we could enjoy a full day in Tel Aviv. The room was a bit small, but we were aware of this beforehand. Overall great place, great location and great staff! Thank you for the pleasant stay!
The location is excellent if you want to be in the centre of Tel Aviv and be near to the beach.
The breakfast is high quality, the food is delicious, well prepared and there is lots to eat.
The WIFI is excellent, the beds comfortable and bedding, towels and linen fresh and clean.
In general I prefer a small boutique style hotel compared to an enormous big brand hotel and the Mendeli fits this profile.
The room was small but very nice. Nicely decorated, including beach balls, beach bats and a yoga mat :) The hotel has a nice flair, with Happy hour every evening, snacks in the lobby and free tea/coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great location next to the Tel Aviv Port. Lovely hotel, been there twice and will come again.
Located near the beach, although more to the south of most of the popular hotels. The hotel is well appointed and simple, but clean. The value for what you pay is good. Bathrooms are small, but shower was good and they provide shampoo etc. and towels (including beach towels).
Breakfast, served at the adjoining Rothschild 22 hotel, was very good. There was even a breakfast DJ!
The cleanliness of the rooms was exceptional. The location could not be better for a taste of Tel Aviv cuisine, nightlife, Neve Tzedek and even the beach.
You simply cannot beat the location. Right across from Hilton Beach and next to a lively little park. The hotel itself smelled nice and boutiquey, with tons of light and nice views from the rooftop. Did I mention the free wine and happy hour?! amazing.
Great hostel, even though I paid for the cheaper mixed dorm I got to stay in the female only dorm with beach view 😊 everything in the hostel was very clean and I could even use the locker in the hostel after chek out. Best value for price in Tel Aviv
A small boutique hotel with the most special design in Tel Aviv. Theater style. There are lots of surprises and entertainment that I won't tell here to preserve the surprise. Great hotel for couples. A beautiful hotel
if you are looking for an inexpensive short stay near Tel Aviv beach, this can be a great alternative to traditional big hotels. The staff was very friendly and responsive. a/c worked efficiently and silently.
Extremely clean and comfortable new hotel in a great location close to the beach and loads of restaurants. Owner and staff really friendly. Hands down the best cocktails we had in Tel Aviv.
The location is good. Neve Tzedek is an old neighborhood in Tel Aviv, with many restaurants and cultural options. The hotel is not close to the beach but it's not too far either.
