This is the perfect little beach shack, with furniture that reminded me of my grandparents house. It's simple and is meant to really be the place you sleep while out enjoying the local area. Rooms were simple, beds were simple, kitchen was small but functional and the bathroom had clearly been updated as it was lovely. Instructions for getting keys were clear and simple to follow, overall the stay was good and really convenient. It was awesome waking up each morning to the beach and had beautiful views of the sunsets each afternoon.

The beach, local shops, restaurants and cafes are all within 10 minutes' walk. cozy and calm, the small airport nearby is absolutely not disturbing (there was no problem during sleeping times). I would choose this accommodation again, strong recommendation. Did not test the pool, but seems well maintained as well.

Just 100 metres from Paraparaumu Beach, Top Floor Bed and Breakfast offers a room with lovely views of the ocean and Kapiti Island. Great facilities such attention to detail. We also enjoyed the outside garden space. So close to the beach and great hosts.
