Nice ski resort, but like all very weather dependent.
Nice ski resort, but like all very weather dependent. We were unlucky with pretty heavy winds and half of LAAX ski area was closed down (however same ticket price, no deduction) and we ended up spending most of the time in queuing for the ski lifts

Laax was not a nice place to stay.
Laax was not a nice place to stay. It seems to be a place were they want to put in as many visitors as possible. Ugly building too close to each other.
Lack of parking places - those that were there, were very expensive 15 SFR per day and difficult to pay for: only coins, who has swiss coin in that amount upon arrival.
Laax seems to want a lot of tourists, but they don't know what to do with them - especially when you can't ski.
I did not feel very welcome
We quickly felt at home in Stefania's appartment, we had everything we needed and slept like babies. :) All the more with the convenience of a hotel, the shuttle to the Laax Talstation, the ski cellar, the wellness/sauna area. The restaurant downstairs "s’nani" was very good (and a bit pricey), and in case we needed, the coop pronto across the street.
We had all very clear instructions for self check-in&out from Stefania and great communication, although technically we did return the keys a bit late 😅
Located approx. 600m from the Crap Sogn Gion gondola, Taviarna Laax is a perfect accommodation for skiers. If you'd like additional comfort you can rent a locker at the bottom station. The apartment is spacious, light, well-organised (lot's of storage space) and was very clean. The Mountain View is absolutely amazing even though the apartment is on the 1st floor and so has relatively little direct sunshine. Inside the building there is a ski room and a laundry room - free to use with the laundry card.
Great location right by the gondola. We had a large room with very comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. Parking is right under the building, so very little shlepping of ski equipment. There are several restaurants on the premises, we liked the cafe for breakfast which has vibe like a brooklyn coffee shop in the morning with all the hipster snowboarders. Flims is nearby with a lot of shops and restaurants. We could use the gym and pool of the signing hotel for a little fee.
The apartment is right across the road from the ski resort that you can access to restaurants, shops and the lifts from the underground tunnel. Apartment was clean and had everything you will ever need. Cute little balcony for nice weather days. The host was very friendly and helpful. He was always available to answer questions when I needed help using the appliances. Would definitely come back and stay with them again.
The spa was very nice, the gym had everything you needed, the lap pool was great. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. The hotel room that I stayed in had a great mountain view and the charging system for my bed was convenient and the storage cubby for my stuff was secure. The meals by the chef were great and affordable, If you stay here pay the extra money for dinners!
The flat was fully equipped and very comfortable. The spa in the evenings was great and perfectly located. A shuttle every ten minutes up to the ski lift and a short bus trip away to either Flims or Laax village. Right behind the place there were paths leading through the forest to the beautiful Caumasee, Crestasee and the view over the Gorge.
Great family hotel with very caring hosts. Make sure to try out the very fine restaurant with delicious local recipes and great recommendations for food and wine. Definitely try the homemade desert! We come back for sure! Thanks a lot to the caring hosts Steffi & Robert!
Nice and spacious for a ski holiday for a week for a family. Good set of equipment in the kitchen, and excellent coffee. The swimming pool and games room were also a nice addition. The location is also great for the bus to the slopes, or to Flims and Laax Dorf.
Superbly equipped apartment and kitchen that was really comfortable and a lovely balcony for dining. We loved the two pools, especially the outdoor one in the afternoon sunshine. Also close to the Laax cable car so an easy walk over to get up on the mountain.
Everything! Such a great value. Spacious, clean, conveniently located. Host was very communicative and friendly. Was only 10 min walk to Laax to ski. Will make this my go to place now when I visit Laax.
Great place to stay on the mountain. Good food, reasonable wine list and prices, friendly staff, comfortable bed. More hotel than hostel at 2000m. Ski from the door in the morning.
Great location in Laax in proximity to the lifts. The staff was very helpful and provided excellent service, incl recommendations to hikes and other activities.
