The house woman was a wonderful lady- so hospitable, so smile and soo good cook.
She helps us with the best route for the Plitvichki lakes, then we had amazing dinner- we had very big portions and so delicious..we had also home made rakia - so good and light. We felt like at home. And this great lady even gave me a little bottle as a present and seeds for blitva ( something i liked at the dinner).
The house is very nice and clean and it us only 3km from entrance 2 for Plitvichki lakes. If i go again there, i will stay again there surely.
You are great :)

The staff at reception, Aidan, was very helpful in planning our day and arranging a taxi for us. The staff in the restaurant were also very welcoming and helpful. The location of the hotel is very convenient to the National Park Entrance 3. We have been in many hotels and have found the shower screens or there lack of, leak water onto the floor, however at this hotel the cubicle may appear old fashioned but the water was completely sealed inside the shower cubicle.
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Grand Lakes Rooms offers accommodation in Jezerce, just 2 km from the UNESCO-listed Plitvice Lakes. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and a restaurant.

Their rooms are really very clean and smell really good. Big parking area. They value their guests , very well staff. Breakfast is also good. They do extra miles from their end to provide enough and special food. We are vegetarian and without we telling them, every single day, they prepare separate vegetarian breakfast for us which was really mean a lot for us.

Spotlessly clean. Very helpful staff. They even bought me some medication when unwell. Good breakfast choice.

Not what l expected untidy and grumpy people in shop , had a meal in hotel Jezero the worst meal ever and well over priced, take a way food is discussing and overpriced, went to another restaurant just can’t think of the name it was so overpriced for jYay the bare bones. Plitvicka lakes was wonderful but the thousands of tourists and the government getting all that money and not spending in a decent place to eat and drink and stand is normal greed

We loved our hosts they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.
Breakfast was fantastic.
Sitting on the terrace having a glass of wine in the beautiful surrounds was a great way to wind down after walking the park.
We had dinner at their sister hotel Grand Lakes which was fantastic plus we were picked up and dropped off and to top it off got a a 10%discount 😊
We also had dinner at Bistro Antonio which was terrific
Both restaurants had fantastic meals and staff.
We loved our time here

Stunning views in national park Pltivička jezera.
Stunning views in national park Pltivička jezera. Plenty of walking paths that are exceptionally maintained. Restaurants, coffee and souvenir shops can be found on main spots with decent prices. Most of places are card only which is another big plus for this place.

Plitvicka is beautiful.
Plitvicka is beautiful. I recommend booking tickets well in advance and going early. Upper and Lower Lakes are beautiful. We walked both lakes in one day, starting at approximately 9:30am, finishing at 4:00pm during shoulder season.

Comfortable bed! Location to Plitvice park entrance #3. Quality of food was great. Variety of breakfast options. Ease of parking. Staff:) Free activities: pool, table tennis, small ‘zoo’, several outdoor sitting areas.
Cons:
Size of shower (no problem for us as we are small) Charge for archery.

The scenery and walkways were awesome.
The scenery and walkways were awesome. Loved they kept the walkways more natural in wood and rock and how they weaved throughout the park. They apparently limit the number of guests, but it was VERY crowded both late afternoon and early morning. Hard to enjoy nature with heal to heal people on the paths. Would have paid more to have less people.

Guesthouse Plitvice Villa Verde makes for a wonderful base to explore Plitvice Lakes Park. We had purchased a 2 day ticket, so after dropping our bags off we headed for Entrance 2 of the park in mid afternoon and explored the upper lakes on day one. On day 2 after a most delicious breakfast-the food just kept coming, we drove to entrance 1 and explored the lower lakes without the crowds. It is a magical place, and our host shared a wealth of information with us about the best strategy for touring the park.
The lady (Nina) who does everything alone at this hotel is very helpful, hard-working and she speaks perfect English. She showed us the best places to visit and that was great for us as we weren’t that well prepared as to where to go first. The owner/manager was quite helpful as well and he was understanding and cooperating. The location is great, it’s very close to Plitvicka Jezera, which was the main reason why we booked this place.
The hotel is a few minutes walk from entrance 2 of Plitvice lakes. They store your luggage before and after check if you require this. The room was clean and had a balcony overlooking trees. They don't serve meals, but breakfast is served in a nearby hotel and there are restaurants nearby for dinner. If required, they will arrange a shuttle service to their sister hotel if dining there. Staff were friendly and helpful.
This was our very best stay in Croatia! The hotel is small, but exceptionally comfortable and clean, located very close to Plitvička jezera National Park, so perfectly suitable to stay before or after the park visit. Everyone working at the property was extremely nice and friendly, and the dinner consisting of fish and mixed grill was an exceptional delight!
what a wonderful, quaint, and charming place! The owner, Ivica, is so sweet, welcoming, and knows everything about the park as he was a manager there for 20 years. And San Korana was passed down from his grandfather to his father and the him which is special. San Korana is the perfect place to stay for visitors to Plitvice Lakes!
Very close to Plitvice Lakes entrance 2 (4km).
We arrived around 22pm and the owner was waiting for us to arrive and help us to the room. The room is beautiful renovated with all you need. Comfortable bed, very clean, airconditioning and very quite in the middle of nature.
Free parking at the hotel. Highly recommended!!
Located in the very nice location in the woods near Plitvice. Stuff was very friendly. Restaurant had very good food (though don't expect to have budget dinner there). Breakfast was also very good. Mini zoo with domestic animals is very nice. Quite some activities to do on the wider area of the hotel.
Nice clean hotel. Room and bathroom was bit small but perfectly fine for one night stay. Lovely staff and great breakfast at the hotel next door. Entrance 2 to Plitvice was just steps away. And perfect location if you are traveling by bus.
The overall stay in Hotel Jezero was amazing! Location was perfect to go to Plitvice Lakes. The staff were outstanding and made our stay memorable. The food and breakfast was also amazing. Lovely pool and Sauna on site too.
Clean and cozy rooms with excellent location (3 min ride to entrance 2 of Plitvice lakes national park). Breakfast was super nice with variety of choice. Our host Dragan was very friendly and helpful. Thank you again!
spacious, modern, and clean property that is very close to Plitvice Lakes. Irene personally runs the property. Of all the accommodations in Croatia this felt the most like home with more room and property to enjoy!
The location to Entrance 3 of Plitvice was amazing and the free ample parking at the hotel was helpful. Dinner and breakfast at their on-site restaurant were really good - we had a wonderfully cooked steak.
The room was really nice and clean. The host, staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good too.
The entrance 2. of Plitvice lakes is about 15 min walking distance from the hotel.
Near Plitvicka jezera, silent surrounding in the nature. Few minutes to restaurant Vučnica and also to grocery store. Parking by the house. You can go to Plitvice by car (5minutes).
Comfortable bed.
Pay 3 euro per person for shuttle from hotel to entrance 2 of plitvice national park.
Free pick me up from the bus station of plitvice when request.
Location is right next to the Plitvice National Park entrance, so if you're going to the park, it's super easy to go from the hotel. The room was quiet and clean.
The location is perfect if you want to visit Plitvička Jezera, you can get straight to the park from the hotel. The staff is very friendly and forthcoming
