The hotel is great. :) The staff is very friendly and know their business. You really feel that the hotel is run with a lot of experience and passion. The site is beautiful, well cared for and cozy. The rooms are designed in an old style and are very comfortable. The hotel has a great restaurant with daily changing dishes. There is also a large parking lot in front of the hotel. All in all a great place to stay.

Coming from a tourist country and working in travel and tourism myself, I know the most important thing is respecting your guest. People in Tourist hotel Potenza do their job perfectly and treat their guests with utmost respect. Hotel is run "old school way" in the best meaning of the words, combined with all modern amenities. Location is ideal, in the historical center of the city, close to all sightseeing, shopping and dining. I think I never slept in such white and clean bed linen. I was staying on Sunday, and asked for a favour I needed on a working day, and it was done for me. On top of everything, price was very affordable and really great value for the money. At the end, I can only say big thanks and highly recommend Tourist hotel Potenza to everyone.

A real working farm stay. The host gave me a tour of the dairy cow milk production and talked me through the making of the yoghurt which the fam is famed for the biodynamic process. It was fascinating. The room was large with a nice terrace that I claimed with a glass of wine as it was a sunny day.

I liked the old city center area, all the restaurants and shops just a short walk on mostly level ground. It seemed very safe! I would have liked to see the museum but it was a little too far and down a steep hill for a troublesome knee. A little knowledge of Italian and a translation app was helpful. The people would work with you and overall we’re very kind.

An interesting city for a short visit.
An interesting city for a short visit. A nice Archeological museum (general tours are in Italian exclusively). The city is rich in its theatre but unfortunately, we came out of a season. The historic city centre is situated on the top of a high natural hill; verticals in the city are striking. Therefore, free public elevators are quite ordinary means of transportation.
The room with the en-suite bathroom was perfect for my mixed journey of business and tourism. The B&B is 10 minutes from Potenza Centrale and 20 minutes on foot from the old city uphill (or shorter if you take the escalator Via Marconi). The flat is very well maintained and clean. The host, Stefania, was very friendly and helpful with regard to practical questions. Italian-style breakfast. The rooms are decorated with handicraft/art works by Stefania, which gives them a nice personal touch.
We loved our stay in Potenza at the Corso 18 Apartment. Pietro was very helpful and was on hand to check in and help us enter the our private parking garage. The apartment is very well-appointment and comfortable. What's more, the location is amazing with easy access to the center of the city by nearby steps or a free public elevator.
The host was very welcoming and informative. The accommodations were roomy, clean, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was on the lighter side (cereal, yoghurt, pastries) but overall excellent. The B&B was a little hard to find as it's in a larger building occupying one floor. You only see the sign near the main doorway.
Very comfortable hotel in the he
art of the old town. Everything worked as expected. Our room (301) had a balcony with a stunning view.
Staff were friendly and communication was good in English. Excellent recommendations for eating nearby.
One point - if arriving by train it's a long walk uphill - best the take a taxi
The apartment is well located, right in the heart of Potenza. The bedroom was very clean and spacious with a beautiful mountain/city view. The apartment itself was super clean and well maintained with a lot of space. The staff member was very helpful and friendly to us. We truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!
The apartment consisting of three rooms and a kitchenette is very cosy, calm and elegant. All rooms have separate bathrooms. The historical centre is at the corner, so is the famous escalator of Potenza. The host Lello is a very kind and caring person, he gave us a lot of great recommendations.
Since I was staying in Potenza only to catch the train in the morning, I chose this condominium apartment because of its proximity to the station. But it was quite near the Marconi entrance to the escalators to the historic center. This apartment is a practical choice.
The Hotel is located in the center of the city at walking distance from Via Pretoria and all the main attractions. It was also possible to admire a stunning landcape from our room, which also was very comfortable. Delicious breakfast. 100% satisfied!
NIce hotel, very friendly and multi-lingual staff (I spoke only italian, but heard them dealing with other guests in english). Good breakfast with everything one could want-would be nicer if opened before 7am, but at 7 everything was ready.
The apartment is completely new and gives a high comfort level, also it is located in the very centre of Potenza so that bars, cafes and restaurants can be reached by walking. The communication to the host was easy and friendly.
Great location, capuccino in the morning😋, great room
size with a balcony facing the street, great staff - everything was perfect! I would stay there again when I come to Potenza
Easily reachable from the train station by taking bus 1A, right in the city and accessible to public transport. Shops close nearby for food and staff speaks English as well.
Great room, breakfast, and beautiful view. Very friendly host! Book this unique B&B when you visit Potenza because it’s better and uniquer than the standard hotels.
Great location near pedestrian walkway Simona was very helpful at getting us a taxi to the train and introducing us to people that could help us locally.
