Set in 125 acres of formal gardens, this 13th-century double-moated castle offers luxurious yet modern bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. The grounds are truly beautiful. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

Set in over 2 acres of beautiful gardens, The Chesterton Hotel is an 18th-century manor house offering a relaxing bar. Its bright, modern rooms feature lovely views over the grounds. Quiet location, spacious room, hearty breakfast options, on site car parking.

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... Breakfasts were excellent with a wide variety available. Dinners were faultless, we enjoyed every one. Staff were extremely helpful. It was lovely to be able to walk out of the back door of the hotel and down through the fields, past the sweet lambs, and right down to Bassenthwaite Lake and the little church.

We had the most amazing time, and if we ever happen to be in the area again, we would love to return with pleasure!
