Breakfast is served in the chateau's ballroom, which is decorated with tapestries and features a large stone fireplace. During nice weather, guest can enjoy breakfast on the terrace, which has a view of the 15th-century Chateau des Milandes. The staff and the hotel are just excellent, the grounds and Chateau are amazing. Staff have attention to detail such as they'd put the Air Con on hours before we arrived at our room, with 36c temps, it was awesome to walk into a cool room. The staff were super-friendly & helpful, although it's location means you'd ideally need to drive anywhere (nearest village is not a safe walk on the main road), we've never felt the need to leave the place when using their amazing restaurant. We stayed mainly because of the restaurant, and it didn't disappoint us a 2nd time we've stayed here. We stayed at 8 hotels in 8 nights and this is probably the best, and ironically one of the cheapest - it's such good value. The pool was a perfect temperature too.

Dinner and breakfast were really, really good. Tony was a joy to have as our host. There is so much to do in this area. We wish we had booked for 5 -7 days instead of just 2. The bed was super comfy and the pillows were perfect. A lot of thought went into creating this place. I loved all the beautiful furniture and wall hangings from other countries. This is a very special place and I highly recommend it.

Situated in Artigues-près-Bordeaux, in a historic building, 8.9 km from Chaban Delmas Bridge, Château Fleur D'Aya is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a terrace and shared lounge. This bed and breakfast has a private pool, a garden and free private parking. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. We absolutely LOVED staying at Chteau Fleur D'Aya! We were immediately made to fee super welcome and in fact on our first night we chose to sit and eat our dinner (bought from a local supermarket) with Henri and loved listening to his stories about the amazing restoration he implemented at the Chateaux. The Chateaux is a fabulous mix of historical beauty and modern interior design - it has been renovated in a stunningly sensitive and clever way and we loved staying somewhere so different! The beds were super comfortable and the shower and bath etc were wonderful. We actually did not find the time to get a swim in as we at two Rugby World Cup matches to attend but it looked wonderful and the hosts were super relaxed about us using it at any time. We are hoping to make a return sometime in the future when we have more time to enjoy the Chateau and Bordeaux and it's surroundings.
