Shannelle was helpful in finding us a new room after we checked in. The first room we were assigned had a weird wind howling noise coming through the front door. Our first room was on the 6th floor. Maintenance did a quick fix by putting a towel under the door to stop the howling. To us that was unacceptable for a variety of reasons ( tripping hazard, fire and safety hazard, etc.). Anyway, Shannelle was very helpful in finding us a different room.

The staff was really friendly. The hotel did have a strong smell in the hall ways. The price point was a little expensive for the room.

Our trip was a last minute decision and it was for a medical concern for our grandson but we are both so impressed with the hotel location and the staff. We haven't been to the island of Oahu for 10 years but now that we have found the Renaissance, we are seriously thinking of going back again. Mahalo.

Kapolei traffic was very easy to drive in.
Kapolei traffic was very easy to drive in. There was a lot to do anywhere from 5-45 minutes away. I really enjoyed the Buddhist Temple about 45 minutes from my hotel. $5 to get in and the experience was peaceful, with beautiful scenery. The staff were friendly. I'd also recommend the Lagoons. I only was able to visit Lagoon 1, but it was beautiful and although I went alone, there were children enjoying the water. I would have loved to go to any of the waterfall hikes if I could, but my length of stay, paired with a day of jet-lag made it impossible. I stayed for 9 days and I probably would've been fine to stay a month at minimum due the the serene feeling of the island.

I like the smell of the sheets tho the floor ( carpet) needs to be shampood. I stayed many times in many different rooms and I think they should get shampood at least every 5 months...you don't want covid being tracked on your floors? Think about it? People travel and people spit on the ground and probably step on this mutated form of a disease it has mutated you'll can never know? Oh and is there a way on your part to have ur system upon check in to except Mastercard debit that has money on it? Or if you can take cash deposit until the Mastercard clears? Money is on it it was paid for with cash... It would be helpful for people who don't have creditcards.

Never been to this side of the island.
Never been to this side of the island. It was definitely quiet and never felt crowded. I like having the beach almost to myself. I didn't go into town so I can only comment on our stay in the villa.

We loved our trip to Kapolei while playing in a soccer tournament. The location was great getting around to all of our site seeing activities and to the soccer complex. Close to the interstate for ease of getting around. Plenty of shopping around which made it easy to get groceries needed - best thing was having Costco close by and was more economical than going to Safeway.

This is a very new & up coming part of Oahu!
This is a very new & up coming part of Oahu! Close to beaches & hwy system but not downtown Honolulu! Lots of new housing & shopping plus a lot of other things to do & easy highway access to get any part of the island!
The location and the view were incredible. I loved being on the ground floor by the pool. Not as private as other locations but exactly what we needed! The Beach Villa Staff was super nice. Grounds, Pools were very clean! Nice and quiet away from the bustling Waikiki but close enough to drive to for shopping and excursions! Close to Dole Plantation, Kohana Distillery, North Shore and so much more! Target, Costco and plenty of restaurants close by in Kapolei!
Our place was clean, spacious, with a partial view of the ocean. It was perfect for our family .
The area was full of things to do and conveniently located to a grocery store, restaurants and some cute boutiques. Target is 10 min from the property which we found to have better prices on essentials than the grocery store that is down the street from the property.
We loved our stay and will be back next year. Thank you!
Our 6 nights in the Hilton Oahu Kapolei were just awesome!
The front desk staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. Thanks!
The room was spacious, clean and nice to return to after touring around the island.
Breakfast was good and tasty . We also enjoyed our dinners there.
Thanks to the housekeeping staff too.
And thanks for upgrading our room when we arrived!!
We stayed two weeks on Oahu. This hotel was perfect to explore the island (all directions) and park the car for free in front of the hotel. Many options to eat and shop next door. Hotel in rather good shape for US hotels. No hidden fee. Washing/drying machines on site. Safe neighborhood. Beach with car nearby (nice: Ko Olina!) but no typical beach hotel
The room was nice and spacious. The bed and the pillows were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was huge and had plenty of towels. There was also a fully equipped kitchen. The pool is nice and the gym was quite well equipped. There's some event going on every evening and food trucks just outside the hotel so there's always something to do.
The breakfast and staff were wonderful. They even have an omelette station where the chef prepares it according to you wishes. They even have hot oatmeal. The staff is sweet, helpful and respectful. This is the best breakfast, included at a hotel that we have ever experienced.
Worst breakfast selection and quality at any residence Inn ever, many soulless employees (nobody cared whether guests like their experience) and terrible price-performance ratio including a ridiculous 30 dollar parking fee. I don't recommend this hotel.
The location was ideal, right near the Disney Aulani resort and The Four Seasons hotel, as well as a few amazing restaurants, and a convenient shopping store (all within walking distance of the front gate of the community).
The hotel room and the overall hotel were clean and well maintained throughout. The availability of breakfast was great. I really liked the common area where after hours I could eat and work from my laptop.
Quiet area away from Honolulu. Beautiful resort with private beaches. Restaurants on site are nice and plenty others across the street. Easy access to island and airport.
Very clean interior and exterior...common areas, rooms, dining area, etc! Very friendly and personable staff! Rooms were very comfortable and noise free.
