Incredibly designed hostel. The building is huge, and the rooms are so spacious. The building gets great light, and there is a large terrace with a great view of Faro. Everything felt super comfy and updated. The lockers where you can store your things are very large. I enjoyed the fact that there were private bathrooms in each room, as well as communal bathrooms on the main floor. The vibe overall was quiet, and people mostly kept to themselves, but I really enjoyed and needed that at the time. Faro is small, so this hostel is within walking distance to everything - restaurants, laundromat, the harbor.

We had to take the airplane in FAO around noon, so we decided to travel from Lagos to Faro one day before departure. We found this lovely hostel. There is a lift in the hostel, which is much easier with our luggage. Our double bed en-suite room is lovely, bright and clean. On the second floor, there is a beautiful terrace and a kitchen. We sat there and had our breakfast provided by the staff. The location is good and easy to walk around the old town area. There was a big event, the Motor Club gathering, while we were in Faro. The traffic was a bit crazy. In short, we were happy with our experience in Sunlight House!

The bed is really well designed for it's purpose. Each person gets a drawer under the bed, a locker, and a electricity hub. The place is nicely decorated, and the bathroom was clean. The kitchen is a bit small but also thought of details.

A beautiful little room in a wonderful old renovated building. The shared spaces were just lovely, and the room provided the quiet and privacy I appreciate when traveling alone. It was located close to all the action but you felt completely removed from it once inside. I highly recommend this property.
