Out of the Blue is a perfect combination the social vibe of a hostel and the aesthetics of a boutique hotel. As we really enjoyed our previous stay here, we decided to book this again for out last night in the Azores. During our stay, we have been to various hostels in Ponta Delgada and this one is by far our favourite! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast is great (they even provide an early bird breakfast for early checkouts), the kitchen has all facilities you could wish for, the private rooms have a cool design (some of them with original elements of lava stone) and are quiet, there is a lovely garden with hammocks and a small pool, there is an adorable cat, and don’t forget to me tion the great restaurant next door Taberna na Boavista which is open to guests until 0.00 (recommended for great local tapas food). We look forward to visiting this excellent accomodation in the future!

Azores Inn - Family Suites ligger i Ponta Delgada, inom 24 km från Lagoa das Sete Cidades och 25 km från Lagoa Verde. The apartment is located in the very center, close to everything (on foot). It is located in a beautifully renovated tenement house. It is very clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable and the WIFI is excellent. We didn't meet the hosts, but they contacted us asking about our needs. The door opens with codes. On the ground floor there is a well-equipped communal kitchen where you can make a good coffee whenever you want.

PDL Green House ligger i Ponta Delgada, 12 km från Pico do Carvao, och har luftkonditionerade rum och en terrass. Everything was excellent, very clean, bed was very big and comfortable, a fridge, coffee maker and all kitchen utensils were included and in great condition. Perfect central location. Overall a great place to stay, no complaints

Magma Hostel ligger i Ponta Delgada, 12 km från Pico do Carvao, och har en gemensam lounge, rökfria rum, gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen och en terrass. The location in Old Town was excellent! I loved having a private room ensuite with the shared kitchen and living spaces. The balcony was a nice space to have a glass of wine and relax. The entire hostel was spotless and well appointed. The shower was hot with good pressure. Free street parking or nearby lot parking was available. The host was friendly and responded to all inquiries quickly, even walked my husband to the nearest market for sundries on our first day.

BRUMA HOSTEL ligger i Ponta Delgada, 12 km från Pico do Carvao, och har luftkonditionerade rum och en gemensam lounge. Very friendly and helpful owner, clean, good wifi, nice beds, central location.

Ilha Hostel & Suites ligger i Ponta Delgada och erbjuder boende med trädgård, gemensam lounge och terrass samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Patricia the host was so warm and welcoming. We loved her the moment we entered the property. She gave us all the required information before hand to ensure a smooth arrival and check in. She also gave us great recommendations of the island. The room and the property overall was beyond expectations. Everything was spic and span. The rooms were super clean and comfortable, and the property was equipped with all the necessary facilities. The breakfast was also good. Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to anyone visiting the island as it's close to the airport and the city center. Patricia, thanks once again for hosting us and showering us with all your love ❤️

THE HOLY COW - Hostel & Suites ligger i Ponta Delgada, 12 km från Pico do Carvao, och har luftkonditionerade rum och en gemensam lounge. Utöver ett gemensamt kök har detta boende även en terrass. Excellent accommodation. We had the private room with bathroom. Very clean and comfortable with access to a kitchen and common area. Breakfast everyday at 8am. We had a rental car and manged to park outside for free relatively easily. Obviously not as convenient as having own private parking, but very doable. Very close to downtown Ponta Delgada. The host was extremely helpful and gave us very useful tips. Would 100% recommend.
