Hotel Kristall is right next to the ski slope in the centre of Obertauern, only a few steps away from the ski lift and the cross-country ski run. I recently stayed at Hotel Kristall and was impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the owners, the Kindl family, as well as the hotel staff. The hotel was spotlessly clean and my room was spacious and comfortable. I particularly appreciated the delicious breakfast served each morning. The location of the hotel is also perfect for ski enthusiasts, as it is easy to get to the slopes. The added bonus of an amazing sauna and a well-equipped ski and boot room made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the kindness and helpfulness of the Kindl family. When I found myself stuck on a ski slope, they went above and beyond to come to my rescue. I am truly grateful for their care and would highly recommend Hotel Kristall to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the mountains.

The view is spectacular. Ample underground parking spaces. The location is perfect with a bakery and restaurants on the doorstep. The surrounding area is spectacular, lots of walking trails in the mountains, cable cars, lakes and an amazing waterfall nearby. If you want a great holiday, you will need to go to Insieme in Obertauern.

It's a small family hotel ran by the Kundl family. They are very nice people, especially Dieter, who is responsible for the weather situation! Hotel Kristall is located on a hill close to town center and main road. it's just a bit of walking from hotel ski room to a lift, really comfy. Breakfast was good. Facility is great, very clean and well kept. It was warm and comfy. Good for the skiers. It was my first stay in Obertauern, and hotel Kristall hasn't given up on me :)

Extremely good localisation! The ski slopes are really just outside the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, food was delicious! Saunas were always empty so we were able to use them. The swimmingpool has water at a very pleasant temperature. The gym was also usually empty and easily usable. It was very silent in the hotel. It is a very good option to buy dinners at the hotel as there is very limited number of other open restaurants in Obertauern!

The apartment is really spacious with practical equipment, comfortable furniture. Obertauern offers many hiking tracks, we could spend easily 2-3 days more. We are looking forward to come back in winter for skiing.

The Hotel is great, the closest one can imagine to the ski slope, fabulous dining experience, incredible wellness centre and above all, very kind and carrying staff. We have also enjoyed, the lunch brakes at Luerzer Alm.
