What did I not like about the property! I liked everything. EVERYTHING! my friend and I thought to rent a car for ease of movement around Lugano, but we ended up taking the train. Lo and behold, they have these smart cars in the hotel, that they lend to you FOR FREE!! and after we checked out and asked if we can borrow the car again, they said “of course you can” so polite, so accommodating. The View was insanely beautiful from our room, I didn’t want to leave the room because I wanted to stay in the comfort of my beautiful room and watch the view and get all the endorphins and happy feels from the view. The price is high but it’s totally justified. And the staff is just so courteous and amazing. I highly recommend staying at this hotel, and I hope to visit again soon.

Albergo Hotel Tesserete er et familiedrevet hotell i sentrum av Tesserete som ble bygget i 1910. Hotellet har en stor, grønn hage, og ligger bare 7 kilometer fra Lugano. Set in Arogno, 7.9 km from Swiss Miniatur, Locanda La Pignatta offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Located 20mns from the lake in the hills, Arogno is a very beautiful and quiet village. We had a great time at Locanda La Pignatta. Perfect welcome with Giovanni. The hotel has recently been renovated. Very clean with good bedding. We dined there, the menu offers quality local dishes. The villagers meet on the beautiful terrace in the evening which gives a very authentic character. Thank you to all the team for this pleasant stay. We'll be back with pleasure.

Located on a slope above the village of Miglieglia and 16 km from Lugano, Albergo Santo Stefano is a traditional Ticinese style building from the 18th century. It offers rooms with a private bathroom.... What a truly special place. They have thought of every detail! Beds very comfortable and rooms really clean, and the spot is magical. Love all the common areas outside the rooms and so nice how they have laid out books and games and all. Breakfast was delicious - esp the homemade jams and homemade granola. Location is brilliant for hiking. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often.
