We enjoyed our stay a lot! Hotel located in a distant area, next to the historical road. The location is ideal for those who want to enjoy nature and quietness. The hotel, which was built in the 19th century (wow!), is absolutely charming both inside and outside. A special thanks I want to say to the family who runs the hotel. They did a really great job of making all the visitors feel comfortable. The family owners invest so much love and attention to detail in this place, you can feel it. Everything is perfectly clean and beautiful. In addition, perfect sleep with the sounds of a waterfall as a bonus.

Located in Stryn, 50 km from The Old Strynefjell Mountain Road, Lodgen Stryn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The Lodgen consists of a historical house with several rooms, a heavily remodeled barn turned into a bar with modern rooms on top, and a garden area with sauna, jacuzzi, fire pit, bbq, kitchen etc. The place has been designed for outdoor life (there's a drying area in the basement) and meeting people either in the garden, at the kitchens, in the house, at the bar, or in the jacuzzi! It has a very relaxed and chill vibe, and Hans, the host, has plenty of recommendations for hikes, activities, etc. and makes sure everyone is comfortable.

Featuring a garden, Værlandet Havhotell is located in Hamna. The hotel also provides free WiFi and free private parking. It was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful location and extremely nice room equipped with everything you need, plus a terrace and impressive views to the ocean and the rocky Alden. We hiked around the island and had a relaxing time in the room enjoying the stormy weather. We also got very good breakfast and dinner. And Elin was incredibly friendly and helpful! It was really the perfect weekend getaway!

Extremely charming hotel full of history in a beautiful and quiet Fjord. Straight from a postcard! Has been led by the same family for 300 years, amazing hosts. Breakfast is one of the best i’ve ever had! Such a memorable stay!

Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away. I don't think i have the words to describe how magnificant this accomodation is. The location and the view from the rooms are out of this world-posted some photos so you can picture it a bit. We stayed in the annex, not the main house. The food(breakfast+ dinner) is delicios and varied. We had the fish soup, trout salat and fish burger for dinner and could not get enough. The staff is so polite and welcoming. The owner always with a smile on his face. We stayed for only one night, but this is a fantastic location to explore Geiranger from, to take the scenic route Gamle Strynefjellsveg( probably the most beautiful one out of all of them) and many other activities. Book more nights if you find availability!
