We loved every moment in Athuruga! it was an amazing stay! The property is beautiful with white sand, the best lagoon and a very beautiful house reef with easy access from the beach. The food was amazing with 2 restaurants to choose from (buffet and a la carte). This was our 6th time in the Maldives and our favorite. What make it so special were the people that worked in the resort. They were all genuinely nice and worked very hard to make our stay wonderful. Our special thank you to the administration for the free upgrade to the water villas and to Mr. Nizam for going the extra mile to make us even more comfortable. We would like also to thank: - the water sports personnel for the free guided visits to the house reef which was a magical moment; - the water villa restaurant employees, specially Mr. Mohamed for the great service and the Chef of both restaurants for the very tasty food; - the cleaner of the water villa 6 for always taking great care of the room and always being so nice to us. We plan to return again in the future.

The staff was always very nice and tried to fulfill every wish. Breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant are great, the sommeliers also offer a wide selection of wines from all over the world. The a la carte restaurant Alizee is also a gastronomic treat. The beaches all around the island are beautiful and the location is also ideal for snorkelling. There is absolutely nothing to fault, we were completely satisfied.
