The time of the year was perfect for us. the weather was great and the hotel was very quite we a low number of guests. The resort has a perfect location just 20 min from the international airport. it’s a small and very cozy resort with amazing staff and the all service was perfect. The food is very good but be prepared for expensive food and drinks in the Maldives. The house reef is amazing for diving and the diving crew, specially Ali, our buddy diver, was a perfect instructor. Tholley, our personal assistant, always there to help us. The Baros Maldives was a perfect place for our honeymoon and we want to come back with our kids as son as all are old enough (above 8y only).

Una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido en cuanto a alojamiento en un lugar. La isla es pequeña y se recorre caminando en unos 10 minutos,ñ. Muy limpia y para hacer snorkel es increíble, peces de todo tipo y colores y con aguas muy claras que hacen que sea una experiencia increíble. El personal del hotel se preocupa de que tengas una estadía inolvidable, ya que hacen todo lo posible para que te sientas a gusto. Las comidas exquisitas. Las instalaciones sumamente bien cuidadas, todo funciona a la perfección. Agradesco haber pasado por esta isla, realmente hicieron que nuestro viaje sea increíble.

El excelente trato de todo el personal, desde la recepción y permanente atención de todo el equipo de recepción (gracias, Nour, por invitarnos a entrar en vuestro paraíso, tu isla ;), hasta el personal de cocina, Chefs, atención en mesas... Y, por supuesto, ese equipo de limpieza y preparación de habitaciones que hace que cada vez que entras en ella esté hasta el último detalle sobresaliente. La maravillosa villa, la playa y las instalaciones como si estuvieses en tu isla privada. Hemos vivido una experiencia absolutamente diferente, sintiéndonos como en familia y cuidados hasta el máximo detalle, a la vez que respetando totalmente nuestra intimidad. Mil gracias!

A boutique heaven 40 mins away from Male by speedboat. Everything was perfect! This is not an over the top resort. If you like private and discreet luxury, then this hotel is for you. The island is small with a bustling marine life perfect for snorkeling. The food is delicious and is a well curated menu catering to all. This was our 5th trip to the Maldives and first time at COMO Cocoa Island. We will definitely be back!

We've spent a week on the island, in the end of December including Christmas. This was a very good time to visit the resort, as there are a number of festive activities including Santa's visit and presents for kids, Christmas dinner and lunch and some other singing and dancing events. Get a beach villa, as it is closer to restaurant and bar area, has its own beach and small terrace and safer for kids. Very important, villas on north-west side of the island are much better - the beach is bigger, wider, has less sharp corals and most importantly - almost no waves and wind. Other sides of the island are much more windy and the beaches are shallow and surrounded by wave splitters. Villas 415-430 are the best places on the island. Resort is quite new (built in 2022), so everything is looking great, staff is making sure that everything is clean and well-maintained, beaches are all nice and sharp corals are being removed from the sand almost daily. Villas are also looking great, cleaned daily, if needed. The AC is very quiet and keeps the villa as cool as you'd like it to without blowing directly to your neck. Wi-Fi is relatively ok, streaming is blocked, but video calling works effortlessly. Restaurant is spacious, so even though the resort was full we always found a place to sit. Choice of meals is pretty big, separate sections for Indian and International cuisine + an Asian corner with dishes from Maldives, Indonesia, China, etc. Choice of desserts is pretty big as well. Bar area is surprisingly nice, with great pool, big set of sun beds (never had to search for a free one) and a small beach. Bar is serving drinks and cocktails, and you can ask for a cocktails even if it's not on the list of free ones. During evenings the bar area is the usual place for events, live music and overall buzz. Shout to an excellent live band, you are amazing :)! Thanks a ton to all the staff of the hotel and yes, cannot recommend OBLU enough, great holiday!

New resort with exceptional buffet and chef. Restaurant has a machine that makes fresh cheese like mozzarella or burrata, nice selection of food, especially seafood every day. Friendly staff everywhere, at restaurant waiters were always smiling, entertaining kids. Good responsive guest relations managers. We really enjoyed a trip to coral garden and saw turtles. Though no big reef near the beach, but still there are nice corals and fish to watch nearby.
