Arenal Paraiso Resort Spa & Thermo Mineral Hot Springs is an exotic retreat that offers its guests a complete spa and wellness centre with massages, 2 saunas, and a fitness centre. 風呂好きの日本人としては、自然の中の温泉が最高。傾斜地にいくつかの温泉プールが配置されていて、下から上に行くほど、温度が上がる。一番上の温泉が一番熱く、熱い風呂好きの方には少し物足りないかもしれないが、自分には十分だった。お湯は鉄分を含んでいるらしく赤褐色。アレナル山の眺望もよい。 施設は少し古さを感じるが、清潔。朝食も美味しかった。 ホテル内で食事できる場所は2か所あり、一つは本格的レストラン、もう一つはカジュアル。カジュアルの方で1,000円近いハンバーガーを食べたが、おいしくて値打ちがあった。
