Ten years ago we stayed in Sumiyoshiya and enjoyed our stay. It was as we remembered a beautiful and enjoyable place. Breakfast was good as we remembered - presentation, variety and taste were perfect. Waka Okami is the Okami now - we did not see Oh Okami this time, apparently, she no longer help run the Ryokan now. The place is still going strong after more than 350 years.

The baths were able to be used by myself and my husband privately. It was about 25 minutes walk from the station and very close to Kanazawa castle gardens.
