We are so happy we decided to stay at The Sorabellas. The hosts met us when we arrived and explained everything about the apartment and what we can do in Gaeta. They sent us info on were to eat, what to see, where best to shop, where to see panoramic views and much more! They really went above and beyond to make sure we're comfortable during our stay. The apartment is located in an amazing narrow street in Gaeta close to the see / Lungomare. There's a supermarket on the next corner and plenty of small shops to buy cheese, meat, sweets, wine and olives to keep you going. You can walk to the centre and the fish market as well as to the other side of town where you'll find the main beach (Serapo). We had access to the main terrace on the top of the building offering an amazing view over the sea - just fantastic. The wifi was very strong everywhere, even on the terrace. It's perfect to do some work (if you need to) while chilling and enjoying the great view. The apartment (and the whole house, landing etc.) was very clean, equipped with everything we needed. It's all very new and well maintained. Special thanks for the host for looking after us so well! Tips (recommended by our hosts): 1. There's a market on Wednesdays by the old station - highly recommended! 2. Do try Tiella in the Pizzeria del Porto - especially the one with Polpo 👌🏼 3. Go and have a drink at the Tide Bar by the sea opposite the square. 4. If you're into seafood you MUST go and try Comeilmare by the fish market. (my favourite)

My friend and I did not want to leave this two bedroom, two bath, apartment with beautiful balcony just one floor above the street, across from the sweetest green park with the waterfront promenade just on the other side. It is both elegant and comfortable. Perfectly located for ease to any historic site, coffee bar, restaurant, bus stop; the beach a 20 minute walk. Our amazing host met us there and prepared coffees for us and aquainted us with the apartment and shared lists and pamphlets of all we had planned to research. She is lovely and attentive and felt like a friend. If I didn’t live 4000 miles away, I would rent there for every occasion.

We needed a last-minute one night stay, and it was perfect communication was prompt and detailed. Check-in was so easy. I would consider this place for a longer stay as well. The location is perfect, and it is a quick, maybe 1 minute walk from the bus stop.

The apartment is new and nicely furnished: A/C, washing machine, dryer, phon, iron, dish washer, bed linens, towels, fully furnished kitchen, 2 flat screen TVs. Near to restaurants, supermarkets, bars. The host is really nice and helpful.

It is completely new and modernized, with a fully functional kitchen (with Lavazza machine), AC, washing machine, and smart TV so that we could watch Netflix. All of these things are great, but they do not compare to the view. You can see the park below, a view of the castle, a basilica, and the sea. The host was great, perhaps the most hospitable host we have had.
