The place itself is far from the crowds but an easy ferry away from everything, and there are interesting things to see on elephantine island itself. La Terrace is very clean, and the rooms and the beds are generously sized. As for Mohammed, he will make you feel at home right from the start, will organise everything you need, and at very fair prices. Absolute value for money.

Great location - 1 min from the ferry dock. The warmth of the hosts, everyone was always welcoming. My wife was unwell for a day, they always asked about her and cared for her. Nice breakfast (additional 150 EGP). Beautiful views. The room was cleaned everyday and bed linen was changed (which was wonderful). Great shower pressure.

El hotel está ubicado en la isla elfephatine, lejos del ruido de la ciudad, al lado del Nilo, muy tranquilo. Todo está muy muy limpio. Pero lo mejor, es que todos los del lugar (Mohamed, Karim, Moussa, etc) te facilitan la vida todo el tiempo. Pedimos muchas cosas y siempre tomaban el tiempo de ayudarnos. Quisimos extender una noche, por ejemplo, pero estaban llenos. Nos lograron un cuarto en un hotel similar en instalaciones a un precio menor (no tenían porque haberlo hecho). Hicimos los tours con ellos también, y todo muy bien. El desayuno es sencillo pero abundante. De lo que hemos visto, creo que es difícil encontrar un lugar a la vez tan limpio y bien gestionado para este precio. Salimos muy contentos.

Best place to stay in Aswan/Nubian village, right on the Nile shore, best food for lunch and dinner we had in egypt, breakfast was also good. Tours were all good and reasonably price, well organised. The room was beautifully decorated in nubian style, clean, great beds, enaugh space. Very pleasant stay, we would gladly go back here any time.

Realmente nos sentimos muy cómodos en el hostel. Es para destacar la atención de Esra. Siempre pendiente de nosotros y si necesitábamos algo. Realizamos un tour a Abu simbel recomendado por ella a un buen precio y que nos solucionó bastante ya que teníamos poco tiempo. El día que viajamos al aeropuerto también nos reservo un ferry y un taxi para que lleguemos bien a horario. Recomiendo totalmente este lugar para pasar unos dias tranquilos y como en casa.
