Property was in excellent condition, we were welcomed upon arrival and given a tour of property, bedding was clean, and bed comfortable, parking right outside and a private area out the back to sit, coffee and tea was provided along with fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge, plenty of local facilities and an excellent beach a short walk or with parking available, kayak, paddle board and wetsuit available for hire, cafe in top carpark and hut on beach serving hot cold drinks and ice cream, recommend the bowgie for eating including Sunday roast, card payment only.

La ubicación era perfecta, en el centro de newquay a 4 minutos andando de la playa. El desayuno era muy variado y muy rico y Amanda fue encantadora en todo momento. También nos recomendó varios sitios (como Padstow que no lo teníamos incluido en nuestro plan y nos encantó). También nos dio un mapa de la ciudad al llegar. En resumen, un sitio maravilloso donde quedarse y la relación calidad-precio es muy muy buena. Gracias por todo, sin duda repetiremos!!!!

The tranquility, the lovely natural garden, sweeping lawns, big trees & little lake, the clean, tidy, modern apartment, comfy big bed and very well equipped kitchen. Perfect in every way.

Características más destacables: excelente nivel de limpieza, amabilidad de Mark y Lisa, es de agradecer la información que dan y lo atentos que son, muchas gracias. El desayuno está muy bien también, sobre todo el "cooked breakfast" de salmón, además hay algo de fruta, tostadas con abundante café y leche, mermeladas de varios tipos, cereales, .... Buena cama, buena ducha, todo muy bien, la verdad. Muy recomendable la estancia en Penwyth House.

I am a seasoned traveller, so I'm no stranger to hotels or lodges; The Haven Lodge though would take my prize! Such a wonderful stay, excellent staff/owner, comfy bed, high speed wi-fi, modern built, outlets beside the bed, TV with Netflix access, great heating, modern and powerful shower, quiet room, delicious breakfast, mini-fridge with complimentary water and drinks, kettle with complimentary coffee and tea, good location (just a few minutes walk to the seaside and almost beside a bus stop), there's an Indian restaurant just half a block away, a petrol station with convenience about a block away, and very kind and sweet staff. I can't stress enough how nice this place is! If you're staying in Newquay, skip the major hotel chains or the very cheap and badly run lodges - go to the Haven Lodge instead!

The host was exceptionally friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was incredibly cosy and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom appeared to be recently renovated, adding a modern touch to our experience. Notably, everything was impeccably tidy and clean, which contributed to our overall satisfaction during our two-night stay. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, ensuring that we started our days with a hearty meal. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you have access to a car. Alternatively, there is a convenient bus stop located right in front of the house, or you can opt for a pleasant 30-minute walk to reach the city centre.
