Such a lovely stay! The family who runs Maple Place are so kind and thoughtful, lots of attention to detail. They allowed us to leave our bags early and even provided a cold drink while we waited for the room to be ready. The room was clean, exactly as pictured, always had hot water, and ac/fan worked excellently. Location on the main road was a short walk or tuk tuk ride to the beach or town. The breakfast was so delicious and had variety for our 3 night stay. Highly recommend we would definitely stay here again!

Stunning Hotel This truly was a beautiful place to stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooked the pool which was gorgeous. The Villa is situated in the jungle so there is wildlife all around. The restaurant served great food and they even took my request to make traditional Sri Lankan food even though it was not on the menu. The breakfast was huge and very tasty. We loved the open kitchen. The grounds are truly stunning, there is such a sense of peace here. By the pool is a fridge which is stocked up daily with drinks and I LOVED the honesty sheet. When you take a drink you simply write down your room name and what you took. The pool was truly inviting and we had some awesome evenings swims. The staff are simply awesome. Friendly, professional and always ready to help. What a great team you have. This one i highly recommend you go to. It’s a little way from the town of Unawatuna but the tuk tuk ride is super fun. I can’t wait to come back here, definitely a 5 ⭐️

The hotel is situated on a Hill so you have a nice view of the ocean.Very nice jungle garden. We've seen turtles, varans and squarells. Hosts are very hospitable, They organized a taxi from the airport to the hotel at night. We arrived at 4 am. They welcomed us with a big smile.

The property is run by amazing family, the location is great and the room itself is one of the bests we had in Sri Lanka. The rooms are spacious, very very clean and well equipped. The breakfast is outstanding, you get huge variety of different foods and wonderful fruit plate. We highly recommend this place, you can’t miss it while in Sri Lanka.

The place was very clean and well maintained. It was located around 10min walk from the beach, in a jungle. The only problem was very bad reception and super slow WiFi, but if you sat closer to the router it worked well. The typical breakfast of eggs, toast and fruits was included. The hosts were amazing, they upgraded our room without additional payment. What is more, they helped me when I needed charger after mine broke.

Awesome colonial touch at it's best! Cool location, walking distance from the beach, but away from all the noisy bars. Breakfasts is massive, hosts are extremely nice. This place is a blast from the past!

The hosts were so friendly, had a chat with us for about 10 mins once we arrived.. Brought us a drink once we checked in which was lovely. Great room with outside seating overlooking their garden. Kitchen to use for free. They also had a menu at good prices. The location was amazing - at the start of the main tourist street towards the beach. There was also 2 hammocks in the garden which was funky.
