I liked how kind and willing to help are Connie and Peary, always checking in on their guests. The place is simple, yet elegant, clean and it can for sure stand the test of time. Breakfast was delicious, full of stuff homemade and with options for everyone!

Henkilökunta, erityisesti Natalie, kommunikoi jo ennen saapumistamme ja koko oleskelumme ajan selkeästi ja ystävällisesti kaikesta. He antoivat meille loistavia vinkkejä aktiviteetteihin, ruokapaikkoihin ja osottivat aidosti välittävänsä meistä. Vinkit auttoivat meitä kokemaan autenttista mauritiuslaista kulttuuria ja elämää! ChillPill sijaitsee loistavien kulkuyhteyksien päässä BlueBaysta ja Mahbourgin keskustasta. Sijainti on kuitenkin rauhallinen ja turvallinen! Myös huoneet olivat ensiluokkaisen siistit ja viihtyisät. Siellä oli saippuaa ja shampoota tarpeisiimme. Ostimme aamupalan pienestä lisämaksusta ja se osoittautui hyväksi päätökseksi. Aamupala oli monipuolinen, tuoreita hedelmiä täynnä ja ravitseva.

Amazing hosts, very friendly and generous. They went out of their way to make sure you have everything. After 16 hours flight, you want something very close to the airport and experience the way the locals live. The restaurant/cafe nearby specialising in Chinese boulletes is just very tasty and lovely green chilli paste which is freshly blended, to die for. Will definitely come back again and stay at your lovely place which is so homely ❤️

Everything. The location was great and although we had a lot of rain, the view was beautiful and there are so many birds around. The lodge itself is decorated nicely and the bed is comfy. The utensils and cooking facilities are ample. The breakfast is simple but enough (per person: 2 eggs, 3 slices of bread, jam, butter, cornflakes, yogurt, milk and fruit juice). Thank you, I highly recommend it.

Very clean room, comfortable bed, bathroom good. It's a nice place on the outskirts of Mahébourg. We really enjoyed our stay there. Lovely staff as well 😊

We felt wonderful at this accomodation. The hotel consists in 4 little cottages and one small lodge in the big garden of this 1825 mansion (cottages and lodge are separated from the big building). The property has a particular charm, with this old building that you get to step in, which has not been modernized, so you get to be transported in other times. Also garden is very big, with diverse tropical trees and plants, and many flying foxes at night. Pool is good also. Cottages are comfortable, they are quite big to accomodate family with 1-2 children. Restaurant is very good, food is very taste, we tried several local dishes (we like creole food), and prices are really fair (44 E for a meal for 3, appetizer and wine included); best crab soup and best curry on the whole island, in our opinion. Restaurant is in the main building and it's not big, is full every night and it's popular even for the locals and tourists allaround, not only for the guests in. To be clear, the property is not modernized much, it would be the greatest if it were, but then I think it will loose a part of its authenticity, that now is its mark, and the confort of total fair prices that comes with that.
