Very clear and easy self check-in instructions provided; looked exactly the same as what we saw online; much thought and care was put into the design and furnishings of the room; high quality hand soap, body wash and shampoo provided; stair lights (for first 2 flights of stairs) came on automatically when we opened the gate; can open the window in the bathroom; heated towel rack; has shower and a large bathtub; beautiful view of the water and mountains from windows in sleeping room; very quiet area; easy to use the bus system - bus stops nearby

It has all I needed: washing machine, wifi, kitchen for simple cooking... The place is clean, compact, suits my family of 4 perfectly. Though a bit out of town, but with Uber drivers, not a problem.

Unique accommodation high above the harbour with great day and night views. Loved the private cable car! Amazingly quiet since it is just off a reasonably busy road. Enjoyed our 3 nights there! Parking was no problem, just across the road, just had to buy a couple of daily $20 coupons from the little shop on the street.

My beautiful room. Excellent muesli!--and that the breakfast catered for all tastes. It was great being able to self-help. The location couldn't be bettered--the perfect location for visits Te Papa and accessing central Wellington---all within walking distance. I appreciated that the host organised my taxi ride to the airport on my departure.

The stunning ocean view was at your front when walking out the spacious, functional and well-designed bedroom. The tides and the vibe in the bathroom were absolutely amazing. The best is the host Ruth gave me a great memory staying in her house.

Very clean and spacious apartment. We wish we could have stayed longer. Host was wonderful and accommodating. Thanks for the chocolates and restaurant recommendations! Bonus of free secure parking. High-end and very comfortable furnishings and bed. And to top it off, a beautiful balcony with views over the city and waterfront. Can easily walk into town from the apartment. We will be back for sure.
