What I liked most about Karibu House was the family vibe. As a female solo traveler, it's always nice to meet new people whom you can trust and feel safe with. This was definitely the case at Karibu House! Both Vanessa and Cristina are amazing hosts. Actually, the best ones I ever met. When they went out for drinks or activities they always invited the guests and included everyone. They also organized a BBQ, dancing class etc etc. Thank you ladies for being so amazing. My Zanzibar experience would not at all have been the same without you and our family! If I ever go back to Zanzibar, I'll make sure I'll see these ladies again and bring some nice white wine for Vanessa 😉 Besides the vibe, it's nice little spot in between the main road and beach so excellent location. The rooms are tidy, there's a refrigerator and you can use the kitchen and laundry machine which is also a bonus.

Villa Kiota is a charming, well located guesthouse about 20 yards from the beach in Paje. Owners Sadat and Elske are always on hand to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Delicious breakfast options; clean. comfy, well designed rooms and common areas. My stay was effortless and too short. I will be back.

The location was perfect!! 2min from beautiful Paje beach and very close to restaurants, groceries stores and pharmacy! It had all the consciences you need to cook as well! But the highlight about this place is Alessandra! Such a great person! She helped us with absolutely everything from getting in contact with drivers, advising on good food and scheduling tours!! We didn’t help us to order food from the app in the first day as we would arrive late with a baby! I would definitely recommend it!!

The service, amazing breakfast, Fatuma and her team. I love that they are always eager to make sure you are comfortable during your stay. They arranged transportation for us to town and ferry with a very reasonable price. Fatuma even negotiated for us.
