Gem the owner is so sweet and friendly will help anyway she can. Place is super clean and quiet. The breakfast has a big variety. Location Right in the middle of town so if you are going to the beach it’s about 20 min walk to both beaches so great location to have a combination of town and beach:)

The location and the floating homestay are very beautiful. We definitely recommend staying here if you can. From the homestay you can go on a day cruise to go kayaking and swimming (we liked it a lot). You can also relax, enjoy the view, go for a swim and/or do some stand up paddling. The woman who can cook your dinner (upon request) is very friendly and the owner is super helpful and also a very kind guy. They did a great job building this beautiful homestay!

This property was super clean and just tucked away from the main streets so it was nice and quiet. I booked here and spending a few days on the Ha Giang Loop and I’m so grateful I did! I slept great and the host is the most kind and accommodating. He booked all of my trips and transportation for me - it felt nice to not have to use my brain!

A very nice experience. The owner helped us reach his hotel from Hanoi, organising all the logistics, welcomed us to a nice clean room and even booked for us a day trip for the Ha Long Bay. He made us pay for everything in the end, making it very comfortable for us.

Everything!!!! Tam is a fabulous host who can’t do enough for you. Her food is fantastic and the rooms are spotless. We asked her to organise some trips for us and she came up with some fantastic options. We also did a cooking class with her (very worth doing as she is a very patient teacher lol). Would definitely recommend her and her rooms to anyone staying on cat ba. With being a bit further up the hill it’s quieter than being on the marina front which is lovely. Tam gave us the choice of the 2 rooms (one with a fantastic Mountain View and separate bathroom and the other with an en-suite , we chose the en-suite one with a smaller window as we like as dark as possible when we sleep). Tam even offered to stay up until 1.30am to put a tv on so my hubby could watch a football match (we watched it in a bar so she didn’t have to bless her). Would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to everyone!

The host was really nice! She helped us in advance by booking a boat tour for a very fair price. She also helped us rent a motorbike and bustickets. Breakfast was also very nice! We really recommend staying here if you are on Cat Ba!
