Amadeus Hotel Boutique er gististaður í Frutillar, 32 km frá Pablo Fierro-safninu og 28 km frá Puerto Octay. Þaðan er útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn. Beautiful view from the living room, nice house with nice garden, walking distance from the center of Frutillar bajo. Breakfast wirth amazing view.

Hostal La Minga er nýlega enduruppgert gistiheimili í Chaitén, þar sem gestir geta nýtt sér einkastrandsvæðið og garðinn. We stayed in the cabin rather than the main house and loved it. Beds are super comfortable, shower has lots of hot water and good pressure and everything runs off solar there so although portable phone chargers were de rigeur and wifi didn't always work in our room, it was always perfect in the main house. The kerosene heater heated up the place in no time and it stayed toasty warm. Lots of blankets, too, if you prefer that. Klaus and Marcela are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed a couple of excellent home cooked dinners with them as both are excellent cooks. Breakfasts are equally delicious as bread and spreads are homemade and their coffee is some of the best we've had in Chile. Really, our hosts are what made it truly special to stay there. They are delightful, friendly people and they went out of their way to help us with some issues we had with our car rental. Klaus speaks excellent English in case your Spanish is as shaky as mine. The hostel is located a couple of km outside town, but it has a lovely stony beach just a 3 minute walk away for relaxing and watching the sunset and looking for seals and dolphins. Very peaceful. Due to issues with the satellite reception, we had to pay in cash, and we had no luck with the only ATM in town, so prepare accordingly.

We stayed 3 nights and the mom made me different gluten-free desserts for breakfast each morning. There is a nice sitting room and there is parking on site.

Hostal y Cabañas Mozart er staðsett í Puerto Montt, 46 km frá Pablo Fierro-safninu og 27 km frá Lutheran-hofinu. Boðið er upp á garð og borgarútsýni. Andrea and Estefan were wonderful hosts! They took our reservation with very short notice and greeted us with hugs hot tea and wonderful conversation. They were an amazing help with providing us information on travel in Chile and booking our Ferry down south. Would definitely stay there again, and hope to return someday.

The location was great - looking over the lake toward the main volcanoes. It was a short walk to town - less than 10 min. While at night the last part of the walk is a bit dark, it is easy and feels very safe. The proprietor, Claudia, is exceptionally helpful. We had a problem with a theft from our car in a national park, and she helped us make the police report, translating and then also obtaining the written police report since it was not going to be available before we left the area. We can't thank her enough for all her help. The rooms are modern, clean, and well appointed. Beds are very good. Great to wake up and look out toward the volcanoes. Being a bit away from town, it is very quiet and peaceful. Nice yard in front to sit out and have a cup of coffee or use the grill overlooking the lake.
