She helped us arrange a taxi from the dock to the hotel and prepared an excellent breakfast from us. Nice terrace outside to sit and relax. Comfortable beds.

The Pelican House Hostel er gistihús við ströndina í El Valle. Boðið er upp á sjálfbæra gistingu með fallegu sjávarútsýni. Beautifully situated between the sea and the jungle, very reliable and kind staff, familial and relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely go back for my next visit to Chocó! Very nice breakfast, lunch spot in walking distance.

The Hill B&B (El Morro Hosteria) býður upp á gæludýravæn gistirými við ströndina í El Valle - Bahia Solano. The Hill B&B has the best view of all the places in El Valle. The hosts are super nice and the rooms are very spacious and clean. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Popochos Beach Eco-Lodge snýr að sjónum í Nuquí og er með garð. Campground býður upp á fjölskylduherbergi. Einingarnar á tjaldstæðinu eru með setusvæði. Wow, what an amazing place! Both the lodge and the area itself. It was way better and way less complicated and "rough" than I thought so I'll leave a detailed review. I flew to Nuqui from Medellin EOH in 30 min with Clic air/ex-EasyFly (which I recommend, they have new ATRs, bigger planes than others flying here which is helpful if you get turbulence along the way). Flights were on time both ways. After you pay the Nuqui entrance tax, you turn slightly left and then right and walk 2-300 meters to the tourist port/muelle turístico. Claro and Tigo have coverage here but if you have another Colombian SIM you are covered too due to Roaming Automático Nacional (I got H+ speeds with my SIM from WOM, not sure if having a SIM from Claro gets you 4G or the same; speed was enough for browsing and posting pics, don't think it works for video call). Previously you would have messaged the host (on wapp) who sends a boat/lancha to pick you up. 2-3$ and 10 min later (this trips itself is nice) you are at the lodge. The tent I had was right by the beach and the area had hammocks and a comunal, new and clean, bathroom/shower area. Shower water is not hot but not cold either, it feels fresh. You can buy food, drinks, water, coconut etc from the host, very affordable. This stretch of beach can be reached only by boat and the accommodation is the only one in the area so you'll have kms of beach by yourself (+ crabs/cangrejos haha). It's very easy to travel to Nuqui, the lancha that got you here can be called for you by the host (Niqui has more places to eat, grocery stores, pharmacy etc so no need to overplan things like I did haha; host can help you to even get food delivery from Nuqui!). The whale watching tour that the host booked for me was very nice too and not only it includes whale (and dolphins!) watching but it also goes to a nice, more populated beach area and to Termales.

Quiet beach setting. Very welcoming host with exceptional cooking using natural products. I was pleased to meet an independent women who is living off grid and is almost self sufficient. Dona makes the effort of arranging rides and tours and made sure we had a reliable ride back to the airport.

HOSTAL EL DESCANSO er staðsett í aðeins 500 metra fjarlægð frá Capurganá-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými í Capurganá með aðgangi að garði, sameiginlegri setustofu og upplýsingaborði ferðaþjónustu.... The owner was amazing!! He brought us coffee, was super smiley and made us feel super at home. The rooms were perfect and it was such a good price!

Casa de Vacaciones ECOWASI VERAS býður upp á gistingu með setusvæði, í innan við 600 metra fjarlægð frá Capurganá-ströndinni. Íbúðin er með sérinngang til aukinna þæginda fyrir þá sem dvelja. The location is good - on the outskirts of Capurgana (it can get noisy at night closer to the center), close to jungle. The kitchen is a bit basic but ok. The terrace with hammocks is nice.
