The location was perfect for visiting the Cahuita National Park - and also close to other amenities like grocery stores and restaurants. Everything was within 5 mins walking. The host was amazing - she provided a lot of local information including best sites and shops. She even knew the 'usual spots' where sloths would hang out. Thanks to her advice we saw sloths and even kinkajous in the evening. Rooms are cozy and have everything you need: AC and hot water.

This place feels like "home away from home". Chiara and Ray are lovely hosts: we really enjoyed chatting with them and they were always very helpful. We rented the local bikes for the day and it was such a nice activity to explore the area. This was our favorite stay in Costa Rica and would recommend it to anyone passing by Puerto Viejo. It's located a bit further out from the center, next to Playa Negra, which for us was a plus. You can enjoy the quiet and beautiful nature there. It's totally safe and not so crowded like the center. The guesthouse is clean, very nicely furnished and looked after. Grazie Chiara and Ray for such a beautiful experience! We will always cherish it in our hearts xx

The property was secure, clean, tidy, and the pool/ garden area was lovely. A short walk to a supermarket, and playa negra. Lots of space for parking if you are planning to rent a car for your trip! Hosts were super helpful with any requests and particularly with transport as we did not rent a vehicle of any sort during our stay.

Angie and her daughter Anielka were extremely responsive and attentive! Checking in periodically to see if there was anything I needed. Made me feel very welcomed and at home. The space was large, with a full stock kitchen. The couch in the living room was also very comfortable. During the day, the house could get hot but using the air conditioner in the bedroom it wasn't an issue at all. I really enjoyed how quiet the area was, while conveniently walking distance to the main street of town. So great location!

Apartamentos Caimán Tortuguero is situated in Tortuguero. A fridge and kettle are also available. National Park is just 100metres from the country house. It was so nice to live in a small neighborhood instead of a tourist resort! Carlos, the host, was a wonderful help with any arrangements we needed. The apartment was spotless. We are going back to stay there again!

Situated in Puerto Viejo, 2.8 km from Negra Beach and 2 km from Jaguar Rescue Center, Ocean's Breeze Apartment and Rooms offers a garden and air conditioning. Excelente ubicacion, seguro y tranquilo.

במקום האירוח Casa ANA KIMBA יש נוף לגן, אינטרנט אלחוטי בחינם וחניה פרטית בחינם, והוא נמצא בפוארטו ויאחו, במרחק של 1.3 ק''מ מחוף נגרה. המארח חוזה היה מושלם! תמיד שמח לעזור, הכין ארוחות בוקר מעולות ונתן טיפים נהדרים! גם אישתו, קימבה, על שמה מקום האירוח, ממש חמודה! בנוסף יש להם כלב סופר חמוד! בקצרה מארחים מושלמים במקום מאוד יפה, נקי ונעים! החדר מרווח, ה-wifi עובד בצורה חלקה, יש מים חמים, גינה מטופחת, מרפסת נעימה ונמצאים באזור שקט שקרוב להכל.

מקום האירוח Alloro Jungle Villas נמצא בפוארטו ויאחו, וכולל בריכת שחייה, גינה, בר, נוף לבריכה ואינטרנט אלחוטי בחינם. צוות מקסים ממש. מתחם של 4 וילות עם בריכה משותפת, במיקום מעולה. הוילה מאובזרת ממש, 2 חדרי שינה + סלון ומטבח. מקום נקי מאוד וגם דואגים בכל יום של השהות לנקות את הוילה עבורכם.

בנוסף לנוף לעיר, מקום האירוח Casa Modi, הנמצא בפוארטו ויאחו, כולל מסעדה, שירות חדרים, בר, גינה, טרסה ומתקני שעשועים לילדים. במקום האירוח Casa Modi יש אינטרנט אלחוטי וחניה פרטית ללא תשלום. We got the unit on the second floor. It had 2 bedrooms. Super comfy 200cm width bed. Fully equipped kitchen though the kitchen is outdoors, might not fit everyone. For us it was great. Barely any mosquitoes even outdoors. Nice place to buy fruits 5 minutes walk and a big organic supermarket less than 10 minutes walk. The beach is very close to the flat, big waves but we built sand castles with our baby so it was fine. It was very relaxing stay in a peaceful environment. They even have a laundry machine and were very responsive to all our requests. Felt very secluded. 10 minutes walk from the Jaguar Rescue Center.
