They went absolutely above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, even leaving us some yoga mats in our room once they saw us doing yoga on the roof. The room and whole property was beautifully clean, nice hot shower in the room and good WiFi. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and even featured home made cake. You are just 2 minutes from the beautiful beach. I’m missing it already!

Set in Sal Rei, Residential Salinas B&B features a shared lounge and a bar. The property is situated 400 metres from Santa Isabel square and a 5-minute walk from Santa Isabel Church. The staff was great, very helpful with advices and suggestions. Breakfast was very filling and with a good choice.

Apartamento Avenida je smeštajni objekat sa besplatnim WiFi internetom i pogledom na grad, koji se nalazi u gradu Sal Rei, na svega 6 min. Lovely appartment close to the beach and the center. I arrived in the middle of the night and the owner was there to welcome me. The house is at the location of the map on booking, so easy to find. The owner is waiting at the balcony, so i found it really easy. For boa vista prices, really amazing. Yes it is a busy street, you won't find yourself on the balcony but luckily you have lots of cafes or the beach to chill. The kitchen it a bit limited, maybe a frying pan would be nice, but in the basicness you can still make everything you want (i also assume you are not going to cook all out since its a holiday). Bed is comfi and big. Its really not that hot during the night, so a fan is more than enough (i didn't even need it).

If you are looking for an authentic stay in Sal Rei and you are interested in experiencing Boa Vista's lifestyle, I highly recommend staying in Ka-Bela. The owners are the sweetest people who will do their best to make their guests happy. They live in the same building so check in is very easy. They were always there to answer any of my questions. The apartment had all I needed. It was clean and quiet. It's located close to the city centre (5 min walking distance) and just around the corner from Praia de Cabral - a beautiful natural beach. The apartement is very comfortable, beautiful designed and perfectly equiped. The pickup to the apartement and back to the airport was organized for us allready. When we arrived it was exceptionally clean.

The hosts were wonderfully kind and assistive. Tina was a guide to the island, organized anything we only mentioned and she is a really nice person. Apartment is spacious and comfortable and it was perfectly clean. There is no airconditioning, but windows provided sufficient airflow (with insect nets) to feel very comfortable. WiFi was working very good (but electrical power may be unstable). Bathroom nice, shower cabin much better than average.

What a wonderful little nest... I don't know how, but Sylvia thought of everything you might need during your stay. I was so surprised to, every time, find what I needed in this apartment : small drying rack, plug adaptor and phone chargers, several small lamps to create a reading corner. As a host myself, I can say that it is very rare to find such perfect rentals which so clearly show how much thought, care and love the host has put into designing them. The location and building is absolutely idyllic. The building is a renovated fisherman's house, and you're located in the heart of local life, not in the touristic part with impersonal hotels, witnessing the fishermen getting busy in the morning, the children playing in the streets, etc. And yet within 5 mins walking you find yourself in the very city center. This is simply a gem and, to me, the best place to stay at in Sal Rei. The studio is also guarded at night by Manuel who's an absolute delight and can help you with anything you might need. The only downside would be that this rental is not owned by a local but by a European lady, hence if you want to support the local economy and local people, this is not for you. Thanks to its location however, this rental seems to offer a perfect balance between local authenticity and modern comfort.

I spent just over two weeks at Vilas na areia in early March 2023 and really enjoyed my time there. Rosella and Antonio are very friendly and helpful hosts, and as mentioned in other reviews, the accommodation is very cosy and super clean. Breakfast (at additional cost) was wonderful and proximity to town and beaches good. I had a small kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, sink and kitchen essentials in my apartment. Internet was good, there was no TV which was perfectly fine for me. Communication before and during my stay was great. Both are very approachable, just speak to them if anything is missing or needed. I would definitely recommend Vilas na areia and would love to go back some time in the future.
