The Mango Guest House is set in Aswan, 700 metres from Aswan Christian Cathedral and 1 km from El-Tabia Mosque. The owner and staff were very welcoming. The staff also made us a simple breakfast when we told them that we had to leave early morning for Aswan. Please make note that you need to take the ferry to this place.

Great location - 1 min from the ferry dock. The warmth of the hosts, everyone was always welcoming. My wife was unwell for a day, they always asked about her and cared for her. Nice breakfast (additional 150 EGP). Beautiful views. The room was cleaned everyday and bed linen was changed (which was wonderful). Great shower pressure.

18 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, Artika Wadi Kiki Hotel is a recently renovated property situated in Aswan and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Best place to stay in Aswan/Nubian village, right on the Nile shore, best food for lunch and dinner we had in egypt, breakfast was also good. Tours were all good and reasonably price, well organised. The room was beautifully decorated in nubian style, clean, great beds, enaugh space. Very pleasant stay, we would gladly go back here any time.

Really friendly, helpful hosts who organised my early morning ferry crossing and provided delicious breakfast. Great location near to local restaurants and ferry. I had a fabulous stay, thank you.

Set in Aswan, just 23 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, Kafana Guest House Nile View features beachfront accommodation with a private beach area and free WiFi. It is a nice intimate place in the beautiful island of Elephantine. The room was spotlessly clean, which was great relief after being disappointed by different hostels in Cairo. We enjoyed the short walks on the island, where we met a lot of welcoming local families, away from the hustle of downtown. We also enjoyed the beautiful little terrace and garden in front of the room, and the good dishes made by Kafana and his crew. They were all extremely nice and respectful, besides being a great company and fun to be around. We felt we were among friends. Kafana himself is very accommodating and went out of his way to get us to our train on time. Very thankful for this experience and will surely visit again.
