The Mango Guest House is set in Aswan, 700 metres from Aswan Christian Cathedral and 1 km from El-Tabia Mosque. Its a super lovely place, way better than the pictures. The personal is amazing, friendly, kind and always ready to help with a smile (special mention for Ibrahim, Mohamed and Ahmad). Its EXTREMELY clean, the cleanest place I have been in Egypt so far. I will definitely repeat it and Aswan best place in Egypt. Thank you all

The place itself is far from the crowds but an easy ferry away from everything, and there are interesting things to see on elephantine island itself. La Terrace is very clean, and the rooms and the beds are generously sized. As for Mohammed, he will make you feel at home right from the start, will organise everything you need, and at very fair prices. Absolute value for money.

Great location - 1 min from the ferry dock. The warmth of the hosts, everyone was always welcoming. My wife was unwell for a day, they always asked about her and cared for her. Nice breakfast (additional 150 EGP). Beautiful views. The room was cleaned everyday and bed linen was changed (which was wonderful). Great shower pressure.

18 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, Artika Wadi Kiki Hotel is a recently renovated property situated in Aswan and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Best place to stay in Aswan/Nubian village, right on the Nile shore, best food for lunch and dinner we had in egypt, breakfast was also good. Tours were all good and reasonably price, well organised. The room was beautifully decorated in nubian style, clean, great beds, enaugh space. Very pleasant stay, we would gladly go back here any time.

Set in Aswan, just 23 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, Kafana Guest House Nile View features beachfront accommodation with a private beach area and free WiFi. Kafana could not have been more helpful. He waited at the train station for us even though our train from Luxor was three hours late and then drove us all over Aswan the next day and made sure we had tickets and got back on our return train (hint - the trains to and from Aswan can be longer than advertised). The guest house itself is adorable, couldn't have been cleaner and the views are amazing - try to be there for sunset if you can be. It's a three minute walk from the train station to the boat that Kafana will bring to take you to the island and then a lovely boat ride to the guest house. The food was also excellent both dinner and breakfast. Honestly I don't see how it can be beat for value for money and Kafana was absolutely the best and most helpful person and new friend. Thanks Kafana!
