The hosts were very easy and pleasant to communicate with, and provided a great personal touch to the place. The place was very cozy, and had all the amenities someone could ever need. The bed was very comfortable, and the place was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with silverware, cookware, kitchen appliances, and basic pantry items. Towels and linen, as well as toiletries are all provided. The sauna also works perfectly, and had a convenient access to the patio for a cool down in the snow. Finally, the location was unbeatable as it was only a couple of minutes from the Olavinlinna castle, the city center, and walking trails on the islands.

When we walked in we thought it was the reception to the building (as it's on the ground floor and has something of a feeling of a shop with the floor to ceiling windows etc), however very quickly realised it was indeed the actual apartment. Spotlessly clean, and felt luxurious to only have 2 of us staying when the apartment could quite comfortably sleep 6. Entry was very easy with the code provided, and parking is available just over the road in the small car park behind the K-Market. Would highly recommend for a trip to Savonlinna as it's in an incredible location just 5 minutes walk from Olavinlinna and the lakeside, but also easily accessible from the road.

After a good sleep an amazing home cooked breakfast helped start the day - and free roaming ducks and chickens really got you in the best possible mood. The landscape, comfort, food, staff, and peace really are unparalleled. On top of everything we even got to charge our car a bit during the night to help us reach our next destination. Without a doubt will be visiting again.

Wanhan Apteekin Majatalo er staðsett í Kerimäki í austurhluta Finnlands, 25 km frá Savonlinna-lestarstöðinni, og státar af grillaðstöðu. Beautiful old decorations and interior design is the pearl of this property. Everything inside is wonderfully renovated and the property is kept very clean.

Þessi gististaður er staðsettur á fjölskyldubóndabæ, 12 km fyrir utan Savonlinna og í 10 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Pellosjärvi-vatni. A perfect place to stay. Adorable and helpful hosts, lots of outdoor activities, great sauna and really striking barbeque facilities (an old Finnish kitchen and a cozy place near the lake), very tasty homemade food for breakfast and dinner. Recommended!
