Well everything actually! We liked it soo much we visited twice in a few days. The location is just amazing. A little bit away from the main road (not a very good road though) and therefore very quiet. The place is surrounded by beautiful forests full of birds. The lodges are simple but exactly enough. Be aware there’s no electricity and wifi, so make sure to charge your devices. The food is simply astonishing. Locally grown, made on woodfire and served with love. We ordered the vegan option, which was very reasonably priced. The staff working there is very kind and hospitable. If you look for accommodation close to Labuan Bajo or on your way to the east, definitely stay here!

Escape Bajo er nýuppgert gistihús sem er staðsett í Labuan Bajo, 500 metra frá Wae Rana-ströndinni og státar af bar og útsýni yfir borgina. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Escape Bajo; it offers excellent value. The view from our room was breathtaking. The staff were extremely helpful, and the food was delicious, complete with a welcome drink and a delightful breakfast. The coffee was exceptional—the best I've ever tasted, likely made from special beans. We intended to book another stay after our boat trip, but it was fully booked.

Set in Labuan Bajo in the East Nusa Tenggara region, Villa Domanik offers accommodation with free WiFi. It boasts an infinity pool with views of the sea and surrounding greenery. In our opinion one of the best places to stay at in Labuan Bajo if you like being a bit farther of from the hustle and bustle, yet very convenient as they offer free taxi/shuttle service to town and back, which we appreciated very much! The view from the property is absolutely stunning, and the garden well kept with beautiful flowers! We saw the best sunsets directly from the restaurant. If you pre-order you can have dinner at the restaurant on site, which we did and it was very delicious, as well as the breakfasts (they even have glutenfree pancakes), and the fresh juices we had here were some of the best ones in Indonesia! The rooms are spacious, there is an outdoor bathroom which was also very nice. Though, we appreciated the mosquito nets as there are a lot of active geckos and some insects, but we didn‘t expect anything else being so close to the beautiful jungle surroundings :) All the staff members and the owner were very friendly and helpful. One of the best places we stayed at during our whole trip in Indonesia! Thank you for everything and we would definitely love to come back one day :-)

RIUNG LALONG TERONG Guest House er staðsett í Riung á East Nusa Tenggara-svæðinu og er með garð. Þessi gististaður við ströndina er með verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði. It was all very clean, new, airconditioning! and the owners are so sweet!! Also, good breakfast with banana pancake and fruit. The owner helped me a lot by arranging the boat tour and drive to Bajawa. I was also able to rent his scooter. There is the cutest dog and chickens walking around. Just lovely !

We stayed at Paradise Garage Komodo Villa for one night on August 20, 2023, right after my wedding in Bali. I was traveling with the groomsmen and bridesmaids who flew from Korea, all over Europe and the U.S. to Bali to be a part of our special day. We were picked up ON TIME by our host, Sari, with the biggest smile on her face (thank you for offering to pick us up, Mbak Sari! We appreciate you!). She graciously arranged two vans for us - one for the luggages and one for passengers. The villa was very close, less than 10 minutes away. Once we opened our front door, OH MY GOD the uninterrupted view of the Labuan Bajo port with a bonus of orange yolk-like sunset greeted all of us. Literally, all that we could say was, "OH MY GOD THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL". After a few minutes of pictures and little moments trying to soak in the beauty of this place, we were briefed about our breakfast choices for the next day. It was a wonderful selection of Indonesian or western breakfast, with fully-stocked fridge and coffee machine (the fruit basket was a lovely addition). Each room had its own bathroom, with large, comfy bed. Every corner of this villa, including the pool, exceeded our expectations and I honestly don't think the pictures online do the real place justice because it is 100x more beautiful in real life. We had a security guard which made us feel safe and following the check-in, Sari helped us arrange a different driver for our dinner at a restaurant nearby. She also gave us a little gift for our "honeymoon" and we cannot thank her enough for her hospitality. Everything was perfect and I really want to keep this place all to myself but of course I decided to take some time to write this very long review filled with nothing but praises because this place deserves it. Will definitely come back again!

Waiara Village Guesthouse er staðsett í Maumere á East Nusa Tenggara-svæðinu og er með svalir og garðútsýni. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd, ókeypis einkabílastæði og ókeypis WiFi. One of the best guest house we stayed. We're treated like VIP. Great hospitality and meals. Highly recommended.

4 Pohon - Les 4 Arbres er staðsett í Pandang og býður upp á garðútsýni, veitingastað og sólarhringsmóttöku. Sumar gistieiningarnar eru með verönd og/eða svalir með fjallaútsýni. It is an extremely interesting lodge, with colorful cabins. The location makes the place. You’re surrounded by a beautiful landscape, close to the river and private beaches. Olivier, his family and the staff are great hosts! And his small warung has one of the best food I’ve tried.

Flores Passport House er staðsett í Ende, 1 km frá Ria Cafe-ströndinni og státar af sundlaugarútsýni. Gistirýmið er með sjávarútsýni, verönd og sundlaug. Everything is absolutely perfect in this little oasis of relaxation.

Golo Tango Homestay er staðsett í innan við 2,5 km fjarlægð frá Pede-ströndinni og 2,8 km frá Wae Rana-ströndinni í Labuan Bajo og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. We really recommend this please! We stay there for 1 night after Komodo tour and it was perfect. Comfortable, wifi stable, hot shower, good towels, nice breakfast. Staff are very friendly. They wash your clothes: laundry for 15k / Kg. It was really helpful! Walk distance to the airport (400m) and also from the centre (1-1.5km). Car does not go up in the street, so 250m walking up to get there. But it worth it
