The room was exactly as described. Big and comfy beds. Clean and large bathroom, a very tasty breakfast, and easy to find. We were welcomed upon arrival and enjoyed our stay.

Pete and Maureen are lovely and helpful. We absolutely felt like home (I wish I had a king size bed at home). The house is amazing, the views are espectacular and the breakfast is awesome. We will definitely go back!

Everything was wonderful! The sitting area, the giant picture windows, the breakfast, the beds, the hosts. All met or exceeded our expectations!

The house was very big and comfortable. Just note that it is not barrier free like most of Irish country houses. The location is excellent, parking possible just in front of the house.

Comfy country home with a super friendly welcome. Short walk across the bridge to Portmagee and a great meal at The Moorings. This is a great base if you’re visiting the Skellig Islands. Be sure to allow time to explore Valentia Island, too. Frances gave us a great map with all the highlights (skip St. Brandon’s Well but definitely visit the Fogher Cliffs and the Slate Quarry). Continental breakfast was provided. The views are amazing and there is a lovely outdoor area for guests.
