Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses in Egilsstadir provides adults-only accommodation with a private beach area and a garden. Our tiny house was super cozy. Isabelle, the host was very kind. She was a life saver because our car brpke in the middle of the road and she waited until late night to check us in. Also, the next day she kindly offered and gave us a ride to the nearest city where we could rent a new car.

Set in Egilsstadir, within 5.9 km of Hengifoss and 45 km of Kirkjufoss, Hengifosslodge Skáldahús offers accommodation with a private beach area and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests... We booked a lodge for 4 days but due to a snow storm and closed roads we stayed an extra night. The hosts are absolutely wonderful. They gave us dinner and breakfast. Apart from their care they are truly passionate about their work. They are building new lodges that look amazing. Our lodge was cozy and had everything we needed. To those who read this: book here and you won’t be disappointed.

Located in Seyðisfjörður, in a historic building, 3.6 km from Gufufoss, Nýlenda is an apartment with a garden and barbecue facilities. The house was perfect. The kitchen was well-equipped. There is a market very close for supplies.

Set in the quiet countryside of Eastern Iceland, these basic cottages are 7 minutes’ drive from the village of Vopnafjördur. It provides a kitchenette and free toiletries. The hosts of the property made there best to make us feel at home! They gave us tons of food for breakfast and also we could even eat from that food for dinner! They also let us move the beds to feel better! Thankyou for this! Its a very nice property and the surroundings of the property is excellent - lots of mountains in the vicinity. We saw also some weak northern lights next to the property. The property is value for money and has a private bathroom. Also, the price is very good!
