The apartment and the surroundings are splendid. The apartment has everything you need, very cozy and it was renovated a month ago. Ashtildur and Jonni are wonderful, and we can't thank them enough for their hospitality.

Situated in Budhir, Marbakki Luxury Ocean Retreat features accommodation with a hot tub, a solarium and an open-air bath. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. Marbakki was a very beautiful, secluded property. My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!

Located in Ólafsvík in the West Iceland region, Grund in Ólafsvík has a garden. The property features sea and mountain views. We stayed here while we visited the west of Iceland and the national park. The apartment was clean, beds were nice. Recently remodeled bathroom. Living area and kitchen were adequate. Nice to have laundry included, although we didn’t use it. Neighborhood was safe with a nice restaurant nearby.

This family run guesthouse sits scenically on the Snæfellsnes peninsula on Iceland’s western coast, and features views of the surrounding nature from all rooms, as well as free Wi-Fi. Great communication, they upgraded our room for free because it was available. Everything was very well explained and offered us paid all you can eat dinner - OMG it was delicious and totally worth for money. Breakfast was also more than tasty. Variety of food types and very nice service. Everything was clean, prepared and no problems during check in or out. Whole hotel is in a great place to relax, close to the ocean, if conditions are good, than it is a great place for the Northern light. Just 5min by car is the Ytri Tunga beach, so you can go soon in the morning watch the seals there. In our opinion this was one of the best stay in Iceland due to our 3 trips. Thanks to all team! We are pretty sure, that we will be back one day.

Definitely one of the highlights of our two week trip in Iceland. Edge of the world meets the comfort of modern living. Apartment is very well equipped and the view is just too good to describe. Make sure you arrive in time to catch the sunset on the terrace! And when it gets dark, the midcentury modern living room is perfect for a cozy night in.
