We were 3 guest at a very clean (somewhat small) room with 4 beds. and a small kitchen. The location is excellent and the views are beautiful. The staff were great: we will for ever thankful for the help we got starting are broken car in a middle of a terrible wind and rain storm!!

Facing the seafront in Búðardalur, The Castle features a garden and barbecue facilities. The property has sea and mountain views. Nice and comfortable rooms. The view from our room was outstanding. Would recommend it!.

The location is just stunning! Could have stayed the whole holiday there. Great view from the privat balcony (family of seals to watch with the provided binoculars you find in the appartement). Super comfortable beds, nice equipped kitchen and all you ever need in the bathroom. If you stay in Hellisandur, go and have yourself a great dinner in the Vidvik restaurant, that makes you stay perfekt.

Hítarneskot Holiday Home is a holiday home with a barbecue, set in Hítarneskot. Guests benefit from terrace. Free private parking is available on site. Free WiFi is offered. Lovely cottage set next to the sea. The house had everything we needed. Warm and comfortable. You can sit by the window and just watch the horses. We visited in winter and it was an excellent place to view the aurora.

Bjarg Apartments is situated in Grundarfjordur. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. This is the best apartment we've stayed in. Everything was perfect, the hosts thought of everything and make our stay lovely. We will come back again soon! We were even lucky to catch the Aurora in our last night.

This Western Iceland homestay, located off the main route, at the base of Nýpurhyrna Mountain, offers panoramic views of the Breidafjördur Fjord. Very unique and peaceful place with an artistic soul, beautiful views around, breathtaking sunsets. We would love to stay there longer than 2 days... Hosts were so friendly. This property is near Akranes Harbour and 1.3 km from Akranes Museum Centre. It offers a pretty, hedged garden and a large, furnished terrace. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Hosts has been extremely friendly and helpful. The place is spotless, and the kitchen was very well equipped. We could also use the washing machine and drier. The guesthouse has two rooms, a double and a tween bed and a very cosy living room. We enjoyed every minute and were very sad not staying longer. It was one of the best guesthouses we saw in Iceland.

Set on a farm 8 km from Grundarfjördur, this modern guest house offers a 9-hole golf course, plus free Wi-Fi and parking. Snæfellsjökull National Park is 40 minutes’ drive away. Everything, this place is just amazing! The cottage is in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the mountines and with a wonderful seeview. I will come back for sure if I'll ever be in Iceland again, which I really hope. Breakfast was served directly in the cottage and every kind of food was provided. Everything was just perfect!
